I just completed my LSD rear swap in an 09 challenger RT auto. The 09 auto's come with the 215 mm and stronger axles which is probably strong enough, but no LSD. I plan on bracket racing my car weekly in the local points class so an LSD was needed.

I followed the instruction written by Hemi31 and the job was a breeeze. I did it by myself in my garage on jack stands. It took a total of just under 6 hours. Anyhow, I want to thank the guys on the forum for writing up excellent step by step procedures for doing this job. It made it much easier than I had anticipated.

Congrats on getting the job done!

Were you able to just replace the diff and re-use the existing axles?

I had to get new axles too....but my hubs and driveshaft were the same.

It will be nice to see both tires spinning instead of one

I had right at $1K in the swap. I got a used Getrag with around 800 miles on it for a good deal and bought 2 new axles.
