Hey USCG,
How has your ride changed on the car when driving in everyday conditions? Just curious, and do you think that the 8.8 was the best option for the rearend swap?

My ride has change a little in every day conditions such as: Like b4 when I would change my tires at the track to the shortie DR's and get that extra gearing... well its like that all the time on the road now.... My RPM's on increased by 200 when driving 70 on the hwy.... AS far as options I think this is the best option as of now for our rides... You can get this rear with ANY gear u want and have a locker, tru trac, etc... as well.... plus the axles IF u happened to break one they interchange ( left to right right to left) one side fits the other.

It is bolt in,
No cutting welding or fabrication.

IS it cut down from a crown vic? WHATS IT TAKE TO INSTALL?It's still an independent rear not a live axle so the driving feel is real similar minus the ability to change to a posi and different gears.

How much? Also does it require a shorter/longer driveshaft?
