Suspension suggestions

I have a 300 touring and looking at some upgrades for the suspension. I want a slightly lower ride height(~1.5") but the same comfort as stock, NYC has a lot of rough roads. My last car I had some hotchkis springs and the ride was really rough on potholes. Second issue is the body roll, do I need a full sway bar/strut bar kit to eliminate some of this? Or can I do just a strut bar to eliminate a lot of it? or just sway bars? also don't want to blow $1000 in one shot lol. I figured a decent starter combo would be eibach sway bars and maybe the pro kit. Unless the strut bar and pro kit would be better off to start with? I'd probably end up doing sways and strut bar eventually, just not all at the same time. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction, and maybe suggest other springs/kits. (yes I used the search button, just want some direct input for my car)

says are waaaaaaay more effective for body roll than a strut bar could ever be. hotchkis ftw :-) as far as the suspension, the stock shocks don't stick around too long if you just do lowering springs, so maybe save up another month or two and look into KW V1's ?

A set of sway bars is going to eliminate your body roll, the strut bars look pretty and help a little bit. As for suspension, for that kind of drop and stock road manners coilovers or air ride are where you want to look, but the coilovers are the cheaper route.

I've been pleasantly surprised with my Pedder's Touring on Chicago roads and potholes. It took a few weeks to settle and smoothen out but I don't think it's gonna change anymore.

The down side is that they aren't height adjustable, but it seems that most people don't change them much or at all once they set their height. It might sit a little low for some, but so far I haven't had any problems. The only problem I've had with them as a product is the "durable powercoat" isn't as durable as I hoped it would be. It's already cracked and flaked off in some spots on the rear coils due to do compression/off axis stretching of the spring. I will eventually get around to asking Pedders if this normal, but I have a feeling that it's "normal"

It's an option if you aren't looking to spend over 1k in parts.

Techco has a lowering kit too, I think it is a bit more expensive and I don't know of anyone running it.
