God awful squeak/creak coming from the suspension.

It used to happen only when I had a passenger in the car and now it happens all the time.

It is coming from the front drivers side wheelwell.

I have this incredibly loud squeak/creak coming from the drivers side suspension. It happens on the slightest bump on the road.

I can replicate the sound by turning the wheel while in park or by pushing the fender down with my hand.

Im guessing one of the bushings needs to be replaced or at least greased but Im wondering which one. The car is going to the body shop on Monday but I was hoping for some temp relief at least until then.

no its only a touring and I forgot to mention that the sound is coming from the front drivers side wheel well.

You are of course 100% correct. Mechanic just called to say the ball joint is bad.

So to get a seized ball joint fixed requires a new control arm? or am I getting shafted?

upper ball joints are serviced with the upper control arm.
lower ball joints can be serviced seperately.

You are of course 100% correct. Mechanic just called to say the ball joint is bad.
It's worth looking into after-market upper control arms with an adjustable camber. Mopar and Pedders are good options.

Awesome. I just had my Pedders installed and a week later I have another noise, it is a creak but a different type coming from what sounds like the drivers side. But muted and intermittent , sounds like the BJ is bad according to this thread. I am sure that an allignment will need to be done, as well.

What is the moog #? I do not need the adjustable problem solver, just the regular one.

My car is lowered and every time I lift it or someone else lifts it I need to make sure the dust boot over the front shock hasn't caught on the spring. That will cause an awful squeaking during suspension travel when it rubs.

It's simple and unlikely that it is the issue but it's worth a shot.

I put new strut mounts on this last week and they dont have a dust boot. The stock strut mounts had the dust boot glue on and couldnt take off. I decided to put back together without and every place I called said its fine.

Really?! I didn't know the OEM mounts had an integral boot. You can buy new boots and bump stops (they come together) from MOOG.

Whose strut mount did you use?

To me its a longevity and wear issue. The boots are there to keep foreign material from getting on the piston and then wearing grooves or getting inside the shock body during during suspension travel. Cheap insurance for just a few bucks.
