I recently did an install of an SRT-8 suspension off of a 300c srt8 onto my charger minus all of the isolators. Also done in the install was a set of Hotchkis sways. I love the new look and drop, it handles beautifully....

My issue is this, I went to get it aligned as would I after any suspension mod and they are saying that I need to spend a little over a thousand dollars on parts to make my suspension adjustable at all as far as camber and caster goes. They are saying that I need to replace the front control arms and put a bushing replacement kit in the rear.

Has anyone else ran into this problem? What are my alternatives.... A thousand bucks just seems too steep for a friggin' alignment.....

If any of y'all have any input that would be spectacular!

Thanks in advance!

Tony

When they do the alignment have them set the specs to a charger srt8. They should be able to align it.

Would that allow them to adjust the camber or caster at all?

The camber and caster specs will be diff for the SRT. If they set it up for the reg charger the specs will be all off. So when it programed for a SRT the camber and caster should read fine. I own a shop in MA and we do alignments all day, bring the car to MA i will align it for ya.

Ok, Thank you, I just called Les Schwab and told them that. He is going to check the computer to see if the specs will line up and call me back..... Oh and, if you mean Masechusetts, I'll see ya in 6 days then! Lol :)

^^All you need are rear camber bushings. Mine is lower than yours and I just have rear camber bushings. I aligned it yesterday expecting the front to be way off, and to my surprise, they said everything is good. Don't waste your money on front a arms.

I gotchya, but the thing is is the fronts are requiring a 1 degree outward camber... The bushings are cheap enough to where I will buy them but I still worry about the front......
