I just bought a brand new 2008 Dodge Charger SRT8 with Goodyear F1 Supercar Tires Front 245 45 20 and back 255 45 20. I currently have 1400 miles on the car. I live in Colorado and we get snow here and well they suck in the snow. They are high performance Summer tires that are selling for 300 each new. I just bought some Yokahama Parada Spec X All season tires and they are being shipped.

I was toying with these 2 ideas:

1. using them in the summer and switching them out every fall and spring with new All season tires until they wear out.
2. Selling the F1s and just use the all season tires.

I am feeling out the interest for anyone that might be interested in buying them and what price should i ask? Since these new are $300 each do you think $200 each would be too much for these tires with 1400 miles on them? Is anyone interested in paying $200.00 Each for them? If so, I might just sell them instead of using them anymore.

I just bought a brand new 2008 Dodge Charger SRT8 with Goodyear F1 Supercar Tires ..... I live in Colorado and we get snow here and well they suck in the snow. .....
They suck not just in snow, but also on clean, dry roads in anything less than 40° F. They feel like hockey pucks, and slide with the slightest provocation.
But, in fairness to Goodyear, they were meant only for warm conditions, where they shine.
I had the same situation here in southern Ontario. I put Toyo Proxes ST M&S on for winter, will put the Supercars on an extra set of SRT wheels for summer.
There's an established mentality that used is ½ price, so you may need to go a bit under $200 to move them. Good luck.
