I have an 05 Magnum and would like to lower it enough to were the front fender is about 1/4 to 1/5 an inch above the tire.
I see the gap there know is about 2 3/4 to 3 inchesmore or less.
Do I need to get springs to lower it 2.5 inches?
I am wondering because I see alot of people in this forum go about 1.5.
I dont get it.
By the way in the future I want to put a set of 22s on it but for know I am using the factory wheels if that matters.

i would go for the 1.5. just speaking generally from when i lowered my honda accord, i got 1.5 (i believe...was many years ago) when i did them and the drop was almost an inch more so it seemed. it's better to go with the 1.5...especially if you don't want that slammed to the ground look. the 1.5 should sit really nice over the 22's. just my $0.02!!:thumbs_u:

I went with the 2" Eibach kit. The stance is superb, but the bumps in the road are way noticeable.

Lots of folks running 22s on a lowered ride but a good amount of them end up having to roll the fenders. I have Eibach, damn cant remember if sport or pro - what ever was less of a drop, and I think it dropped further than what was advertised. Still looks great and I dont really have any problems. Just have to be carefull around speed bumps!

I put the Eibach Pro-kit springs in my '07 Magnum. They are advertised most places as a 1.7" drop. Mine came down a little over 2". I did have the alignment shop loosen the control arm bolts and settle it while on the alignment rack (with weight on the springs) as Eibach recommends. This saves wear on the bushings and probably helped the drop. I use reasonable care on driveways and speedbumps and have no problem as a daily driver. And it looks right. I have stock 18" rims.

I have the Eibach Pro-Kit which is "1.5" but I think it settled a little lower than that. I have almost zero gap between tire and fender.

dammn those are low guys ^^^... im looking for a 1.5 inch drop as well for my Magnum R/T but dont want springs cause of ride quality and such. Im lookin towards srt suspension as it lowers the front a bit and better handling FTW
