Hey everyone! Newbie to the forum here - looks like you've got a great board going, lots of good info and some SWEET looking rides.
I'm looking to get wheels & tires for my '05 Magnum SXT, and came across a site online called Discounted Wheel Warehouse offering wheel & tire packages for my Magnum. In the 20" rims, they're recommending a 20 x 8.5 rim, with 275/45/20 Goodyear Eagle GT2's. First of all, has anyone had any experience with this company (good, bad, or otherwise), and secondly, would the 275's be too wide/tall for my Magnum, especially on the front end with the steering knuckle up there?
Any advice would be appreciated.
(Addendum - Minor error in the post on my part....I just looked at the site again, and the Goodyear's are just the first choice on the rubber. They also offer Yokohama's, Toyo's, Nitto's, and Falken's as upgrade options at additional cost. If one of those would be a better choice on the tire, please let me know!)

stevenk2,
Welcome aboard! I have never used Discount myself so I can't speak about any experiences, but I did sell tires for 12 years. I would personally go with the Yokohama or Toyo. The size sounds a little big. I think the preference for size is a 245/45-20 or 255/45-20. Maybe someone else that is running the 275's will chime in if they are out there. Good luck!
If you do a search on this forum you will find a post that has a link to a site that offers a calculator for determining if a tire size. It is a very useful tool and may indicate that the 275 is in fact too big.

DON'T ORDER FROM THEM! Unluckily I did, I still have that set of wheels because they don't fit the Magnum, the wheels had a bolt pattern that fit (5 x 114.3) but many of the people with this bolt pattern complain of shake at higher speeds of course they said it was 5 x 115 when I ordered, also the offset was wrong, tryed to send "spacers" to help with the offset, they ended up being big a$$ adapters which didn't fit by the way. I wasn't about to use those things so I found a local shop that had wheels that fit and kept the tires that came with the wheels(they were cheaper that local shops on tires) the shop I went to felt bad for me and they gave me a good deal and they are going to help figure out what the wheels Discounted Wheel Warehouse sold me do fit so I can sell them. This deal would have really sucked if not for their help. Hope this reply doesn't sound harsh but that company is a sham you really should think twice before going with them, my mistake will be worht it if it's a lesseon I can share.

Thanks for the input.....I will probably steer clear of Discount, judging from your post. I did wonder a bit about the 275 width too - I want to get a meatier tire under the car (think "hot rod", not "bling" - in other words, 20" wheels will be sufficient for me), but I don't want to go overboard and end up rubbing everytime I go over a speed bump either. Anyone else out there with opionions on the widest width tire that you can go with on the Magnum with a stock SXT suspension?
Also, does anybody have a reputable discount wheel & tire shop that they would reccomend (online or otherwise)? We've got Les Schwab, America's Tire Company, and Big O around here locally, but if I can save some $$$ by going online, I'd do that in a heartbeat.

i ordered from them and it took forever to get my set. luckily though my rims and tires fit. i have the 20x8.5 in the TIS02's. the size should be the 255/45r20's. i had to call them to get the right size tires and spent all together about 4 hours of my life wasted on hold
