I was there for a little bit but no racing for me...
Ken with the green monster covered in blue tape...
Keith with the black R/T ready for the track.... Keith was excited! :pepper: Btw we need video ;)
George, Ron, Mike, Paul.... good turnout and great weather (for racing...brrr).
How did everything go? :)

I had such a blast today. The first time running my Mag. First run in time trials I went into limp mode after over reving the car during the burn out. Then I spun real bad off the line with a 2.345 60' for a 13.73 Then thanks to George for helping me with my ESP. My second run a little better still some tire spin 2.041 60' for a 13.056 We only got 2 trials. So for my first race I dialed in at 12.90. I ran a 12.989 with a 1.994 60' at 107.77 to take my first win. My second race I chocked and over staged and red lighted. But all in all I am very happy. I did two things I said I wanted to do today. First was not to lose in the first round and second to get in the 12's...I can't wait nowto do it again... I want to thank 402 for their support today with my first time out with the car and everyone else that helped me today...
Cool Ken. It sounds like you had a great time. Good to see you and Shanon as always. :) Glad you had fun. Did the blue tape work as intended?

LOL! Jacob, The tape was all Ernie. He had to make sure his paint was protected. But I must say it did it's job. And it was nice seeing you today to and congrats. I hear your car is off to 402...

I wish I could've been there.
I got called into work at 2am and got home around 8.
I grabbed some sleep, and decided to do some much needed cleaning under the hood.
Also did my EGR delete while I was at it.

Had a blast yesterday. Might go back this saturday for old vs new mopar shootout. Ran a 13.8 but def have to improve that. lol Good seeing everyone again.

Keith, It was a blast. Your car was running good. Yeah I can't wait to get back a best my 12.9 I need to work on my lunches and not choking. Hope to see you at the track soon...

I really like it Jacob. I never stalled it higher than 2000 rpm, because I only managed to get 80 miles on the car since the install. I did get a 1.7 60 ft. time with the .000 RT. So lets just say "I like it". Ran a personal best of 12.7x, and knew I had a good run, so I wasn't letting up. Especially against a turbo Jeep. Yeah, that was a happy break out! :rock: I'm off all next week, so the nitrous will be straightened out, and I'll see what else I can break!
Cool glad to hear that. After some more miles on the car you can really let it rip next time at the track :)

Actually Ken gets refrigerator boxes.....you guys could put a few of those babies together and you'll be all set. :mrgreen:
Anyways its only money.....I've lost a ton of it over the years....and I'm not living in a box...yet :roll:

I just broke the news to my wife today about a certain color change to the car that may be in my future. Suprisingly, she was OK with it after a five minute rant. Took it much better than I expected. I definitly won't have any real mod money for a while after my car gets wrapped up at 402.

Hi guys sorry I missed a fun day at the track. I can’t wait to get the wife's RT down the 1/4 mile. With the nice weather I had tons to do around here (see the long list of toys). We got my son's Jeep CJ back on the road and I did some work on the 69 ragtop. I will keep an eye out for other meetings.
