Does any one know the different trannys gears and diffs for the LX models. For example, I have a Magnum SXT AWD. Does the R/T have the same tranny, or the SRT or R/T AWD and SRT AWD? I know the 2.7l has the 4 speed, but what about he rest of them?... Are the Rear ends the same?

Maybe some day down the road, I will just happen to run across a 5.7Hemi and want to do a swap. Would this even be possible, or would I have to get a beefier drive trane?

A list of availble drive trane packages would be nice.....

all of the 5 speeds utilize the same transmission gearing.
the SRT has slightly different internals than the R/t.. cant comment on differences down to the v6 trannies, but the gearing is the same if its a 5 speed.

and SRT model has a 3.06 rear diff gear
an R/T model has a 2.82 rear diff gear,
the AWD has a 3.06
i cant remember the v6's, but im pretty sure they have a different rear differential from teh R/T and SRT, not sure about the gearing.

now with teh 6 speeds things change.
dont know about tranny gearing,
however the rear end options are a 3.7x and a 3.9x depending on the options you take on your car
