Hey Im looking into buying a 300c ...
k so this one. is a 2005 300c 5.7 with navigation leather the whole deal...
KMS 78000
they were asking $19 900 and I said $15 000 and then they came back to me with $16 000 or should i go lower than $16000 considering the following below.
is this a good deal?... is there something I should be looking out for ? I test drove it and it runs like a beauty... everything is nice, just a fair size dent on the front left quarter panel which i would like to get rid of. It also have newer tires only about 7 months old .
the things that have been replace are ....
- adjuster turning loop bolts
- veci label replacement
- radiator isolator brackets
-anti freeze concentration level <-wtf??
- tires 7 months old.
- new front brakes - - new rotors, pads, vline ?.. and Free up sliders
- nitrogen installed in tires....
hood props replaced
I looked at the bcaa inspection and the only thing that caught my attention is :
DIFF. pinion seal/area - some fluid dampness at rear differential. keep under observation. - how serious is this? if it turns out to be a problem how much could this cost me?
Tie rod ends, outer/inner, RH/LH - Left and right outer tie rods worn. repair as needed - is this something that i should be worried about or what.... how much could this cost me ?
also what do you think about the Warranty
36months/60000 for $2869
or 24 month / 40 000 for $2227
What do u think?... help me out please and THANK U

make sure to haggle on the warranty - they can knock a TON off of that price. When I traded my 05 in for an 07, I ended up getting the max-care 6/100000 for something like 1700.

I paid 16900 for my 06 C with 25k miles on it and that included 5 year 100k. Depending on your credit and all, I think you can go lower.

wow... where did u get that deal! WOW! lol i think i will go down to $15 000 for sure! i think u got a really really lucky deal there! nice ...
so tie rods are something that are common among the 300c's that are replaced ?..
and also like it says on the BCAA inspection:
DIFF. pinion seal/area - some fluid dampness at rear differential. keep under observation what kind of a sign is this ?... have you guys ever had experience with this type of thing... like the main thing that im concerned about is that I buy the vehicle and then the rear end blows up then im screwed with a $2500 problem
mgrasper : ... they are only offering a 3 month warranty... but they say that it "qualifies for a extended warranty" which i can purchase.. for like i said.. a price of :
36months/60000kms for $2869
or 24 month /40000kms for $2227 *Canadian..*
anything else i should really check for before purchasing it ?.. little minor things that can easily looked over ..?
oh ! i did notice one thing when i was driving , i heard like a slight very slight rubbing noise when driving it .. but then it went away .. the salesmen told me some bs that is was the "suspension working" (because it was a rough road..) but i didnt buy any of that.
AND last but not least... should i get the 5.7 or what...would i kick my self if i got the v6?.. ahh so many things!

What ever you decide to do, definitely go with the 5.7 at a minimum. You would end up kicking yourself down the road with the 6 cyl. I'm the lucky one in my family to have the Hemi. My husband only has the 3.5 in his Maggie and I hear about it ALL the time. :boohoo:

What michelle said, plus don't pay over $16000 for it <---- meaning go down to $15k.

Now I found a 2005 300c Magnesium.. Fully load with Nav .. and the whole nine yards, this one is absolutely immaculate! i thought they messed up on the advertisement and that it was actually like a 2007 ..the carpets and the leather are unbelievable... this one has 64 000 kms... and for $19 000.... new tires nothing wrong with it ! runs and looks amazing any suggestions and some input?.. also a DOCUMENTATION FEE of 250.... they originally were asking $23 000 then $20 000 and now i got them down to $19 000
