Question for all those guys that have converted to the Mygig unit in their 300's and used the 08 bezel. I got an 08 bezel and tapered the bottom portion perfectly, looks like it came that way from the factory. When I mount it in my car and hold it in with pressure it looks like it was there since the begining of time. But... when I release the presure, the top 1/2-1/3 of the bezel doesnt sit nice and tight to the dash, it sticks out ever so slightly.
From looking at both bezels I can see they completely redesigned the clips on the bezel and the mounting holes in the dash and this is causing the loose fit.
I freakin hate poorly fitted interior and body parts that have F'ed up gaps. What tricks have you guys done to make the 08 bezel sit tight against the dash at the top?

i trimmed out the "fence" part between the two center pegs on each side, lets it sit a little tighter in the middle next to the mygig. other than that, mine is a nice tight fit all round.

weird that yours fits tight. On mine the top clips are completely different not allowing it to snap tight to the dash. The average person wouldnt notice but to me is screams hack job.
What year is your car, maybe they did something different with the mounting between different years.

Now that I had a second look at what is happening with my bezel I think this "fence" is what is causing my top part to not sit tight. From the center of the mygig down, my bezel is flush and tight, from the center of the mygig up it is sitting out and not 100% flush.
Im going to trim the center pegs and see what happens.

Yep, kinda what my observations were. You can trim the sides of the bezel so its nice and tight in the center stack that you really dont need many pegs at all to hold it in.

Has anyone done this with a Charger? I've been trying to do this for a while but am not sure of the differences in bezels and if its possible.
