I heard that there's a hole or some sort of port in the 300 for a 10" sub. Can anyone clarify this for me? Thanks.

It would be for a 8" woofer but not all cars have them.

You will have the hole in your rear deck. Just remove the carpet piece that is under the deck in the trunk and you will see the hole. It is made for a 8" speaker but I built a trim ring that I screwed into it and then installed a 10" sub. Sounded good But I removed it. Good luck!
