Hey, forum. skeeta72 here; newbie on the set. I'm looking to hook my car up stereo-wise. I've got a start with some mid-range speakers; Infinity Reference 6022si (2pr). Does anyone have an idea of a good amp for these? Thanks!:bahdumcha:

i put alpine type r 6x9's in the back deck and alpine type s 6 1/2 components up front and i'm running them on an older alpine v12 amp. sound is really clear. i'd have to check the wattage on the amp though

Yeah. The guy that put me on to this site, 05Silver_C, is all JBL himself. I mean, deep! JBL's all he deals with. I wouldn't mind JBL, but my 'pockets' speak against it right now. (lol)

I just bought a Phoenix Gold amp. It's a good value imo. Also check out kenwood, hifonics, and mtx

Hey, Thanks, JayR04. I didn't consider Phoenix Gold when I was thinking of amps. I'll check into it. By the way, being new to this site, I have lots to learn just from knowing which forum to ask certain questions. Do you know which forum in vendors I could enquire about audio? Seeing if I can get decent quotes as opposed to paying retail or MSRP.

Good lookin' out again. Looks like I'll have to try and get up on the 'e-bay' train.
