Just got some new 24" for my 08 charger, I kno dodge is known for finding excuses. For not covering issuues so do u think a car with 24" void the lifetime powertrain???

Don't it can...wont void your power train...but they would not fix problems that may be attributed to the rims. Damage on the on the control arm maybe.

if there's a problem with the car, put the stock wheels back on before taking it in to be fixed.

The dealerships near me hear in CA put 22" wheels on the LXes when they're brand spankin' new. So my answer, at least here in CA is no, it shouldn't void your warranty.

I think you'd be up the creek on something like tire rod end links (even though they fail premature w/ stock wheels) but anything non suspension related shouldn't be an issue.

Can anyone think why my charger only rubs when turning in reverse, no rubs going forward and turning.... Rim shop says its the plastic in the fender well rubbing and after a while it will rub down the plastic and won't rub...... That's sounds like bs to me

Probably won't affect your powertrain warranty though they can try. Will definitely affect warranty on bushings, shocks, springs, steering rack, etc.
deontae1987 - The tires and bushings deflect a little differently in reverse as opposed to drive, could be just enough to make the difference. If you rub down the plastic in the fender well... well, there will be a hold left. That's not really the right way to do it...

Sounds like you have the sdame issue that a lot of R/T guys have when adding SRT rims to their rides. It only rubs when moving in reverse with the wheel cranked all the way over..... I believe the small 3mm spacer would solve the issue. Do a search though to find out for sure, as I know this topic has been covered a few times around here. That should solve your probelm though, and it's the better route than just wearing a hole through your fender lining.
