CARAVAN INFO FROM AUSTIN to the Texas Mile (http://lxforums.com/board/showthread.php?t=152982):

Depart from Rudy's (Duval/183) location @ 7am Sunday morning (March 29). Estimated travel time is 3 hours according to the yahoo site. I think it was less than that for us while maintaining close to legal speeds. Anyone south can catch us along 183. I'll send you my cell if you want. http://maps.yahoo.com/;_ylc=X3oDMTExNmIycG51BF9TAzI3MTYxNDkEc2VjA2ZwLWJ1 dHRvbgRzbGsDbGluaw--#mvt=h&lat=29.463825&lon=-97.511125&zoom=8&q1=Research%20Blvd%2C%20Austin%20 %28Travis%20County%29%2C%20TX%2078759%2C%20United% 20States&q2=28.609985%2C-97.611278 (http://maps.yahoo.com/;_ylc=X3oDMTExNmIycG51BF9TAzI3MTYxNDkEc2VjA2ZwLWJ1 dHRvbgRzbGsDbGluaw--#mvt=h&lat=29.463825&lon=-97.511125&zoom=8&q1=Research%20Blvd%2C%20Austin%20%28Travis%20Count y%29%2C%20TX%2078759%2C%20United%20States&q2=28.609985%2C-97.611278)

Les I will be flying to Spring Fest from Houston on Friday and flying back to Houston on Sunday morning at 1 a.m. to land at 6 a.m.

I will pick up the car/trailer in Houston and meet yall at the Texas Mile sunday morning....do you remember HOW to get there.... not the whole route but once you get off the main road, that was a PITA remember.

I'm ok with that, not that I'm scared of the power (its not quite up to the Alcohol Dragster) though I sure got a lot of grief back home. :blah:

I want to make it, but I may try and carpool with someone as I don't need to be spending all the gas money without a regular paycheck right now. Anybody need a navigator?

Just an FYI….

As much as I hate to do this, I am cancelling out on going to the Texas Mile this weekend.

The big dawgs (Lou & Nathan) won’t be running and I have things to do at home.

hey I understand. With a much as you have been doing to that car, it is not surprising that the schedule had to slide some.

See you in OCTOBER! No excuses about SEMA this time :) Well, ok, i know SEMA paysthe bills, so I guess we will have to wait to see.
