OK we need to decide on a date and time asap so we can start recruiting cars on the other forums.

Location: Cookeville TN
http://www.mapquest.com/maps?city=Cookeville&state=TN&country=US&latitude=36.1628&longitude=-85.501701&geocode=CITY

Because it is almost March already I assume we want to do it later in the month so we have more time to prepare but lets see what everyone thinks. As you vote for a date please also post and let us know if you are unable to attend on specific dates. We want to make sure we get as many cars as possible to each GTG. Also I know some have to work on Saturdays so if you are one of those people let us know what the earliest time you can attend will be.

EDIT: You can vote for multiple days so please vote for any days that you are available so we can see how many cars we will actually have for each one!

Ok lets see what happens!

Dates Not Available
March 14th and 15th

Dates Available
Any other weekend in March(either Sat. or Sun.)

EDIT: Voted

OK as I added the poll I found out we have the option to vote for more then one choice so I did that so if a couple dates work best for you you can choose multiple days. I am hoping this will give us a better idea of a date the most people can attend.

I personally like the 22nd the Best, but we shall see what everyone thinks, because I would also like this one to be a good turnout as well

BSHAW27
02-24-2009, 09:38 PM
Yeah I know for sure I can't go on the 21st but I might have to fly to Mass. on the 22nd but if I don't have to fly that day I agree that I think it is the best option. Because the weekend after is almost April and I know there are like three different shows in April people are talking about possibly going to.

Hopefully by the end of tomorrow we will have enough votes to decide.

I think we can just look at the list of who voted and see who we have left!

Here is the 13 people that have voted so far:

Well we got 40 minutes left on our deadline for this but I don't think anything is gonna change. We had 13 total voters and 10 of those people are available on the 22nd so I think that is officially the date. The other three voters were MikeeV9, HolySXT, and MoTenn so I'm sorry we have to pick this date but I think we did it the fairest way possible and I really hope you guys can find a way to make it.

Now we need to finalize a location so is anyone familiar with the area? I know Ryan found an Applebees in the area so that is currently our only option. Anyone else have a better choice?

BSHAW27
02-27-2009, 09:58 AM
Well I don't know if they are open I don't ussually eat at Outback but I think on a Sunday afternoon they would be open to get the church crowd. If I had to pick a place I would choose Chillis or Applebees because they are a little louder less formal place for our crazy crew! I know I kept catching myself cursing right behind the church crew sitting behind us at Texas Roadhouse. I think outback will be packed with the church crowd!

BSHAW27
02-27-2009, 01:45 PM
Man we got a poll for everything else already. I just talked to a buddy that lives between Cookeville nad Nashville and he said all those places are on the same street along with alot of other options. I was thinking at Applebees we could take over the bar area and maybe a few high tops and be by some TVs. At Chillis the bar area is ussually alot smaller but they ussually have more seating in the back so I guess it is a wash. I say we stick with Applebees since it was the first place we discussed! As long as no one has a specific reason they don't want applebees this will just be easier to pick it and go with it.

I went ahead and posted this up on all the forums I visit but I know you guys visit alot that I don't so post it up on any forum you don't see it already on.

Well hopefully might have two RT/10 Vipers show. Just put a catback on one of them. Hopefully one of the owners said he would try to get some more guys from the viper club.

So as the date is getting closer... Are some of us going to rool together out to Cookville? Mark you got any idea on which way you guys are going to head to cookville? For the knoxville crew we (Rayn and I) could meet up at one of the exits on I-40 just past the split and roll together from there.

Robert keep me in the loop on the convoy I told Ryan but didn't tell you that I might make it after all they had an emergency in NC so I cancelled my other flight and now I just have to drive to NC the same day as the GTG instead. I am trying to go to the meet and then leave early to start my drive to NC but I am not 100% sure yet.

Robert you know you and I will roll together. Whats the first exit past the split. That would be a good meeting point for anyone coming from this way.

I would go to the second one. the first one is how you used to get to the Atmic speedway.. not a lot of room there. looks like exit 356 is a better bet.

Hi guys, new to this forum. I've linked up with Mr Smith and RobertG74 a bit and it's still up in the air for me coming down there. I'm meeting up with another fellow Challenger owner today and will to convince him to join. Both of us are members of the Challengertalk forum. There's about 10 Challengers running around post here and we're trying to find them! So the more the merrier of course. Will keep you guys posted. Thanks for the invite!
