Any benefit to BT 3mm spacers over generic spacers?

I have the generic universal 3mm spacers and was wondering if there is a good reason to replace them with the BT spacers.

I'm sure the BT's are stronger, but other than that, what do they offer?

I have a little shimmy on the freeway and am thinking it's my current spacers.

Plus they are hub centric and most likely yours in not... so yes it will most likely take away that highway shimmy... I would get them...

When my wife, Plum Krazy mounted up her newly acquired wheels from Trojans Challenger, the 3mm spacers were used. I cleaned up the mess around the lug studs created from factory wheels and steel brake rotors. That way the new spacers were flush on the stock rotors. Now this is only at 15k miles too.

No "slop" movement on the brake rotor from the 3mm BT spacers

No shimmy or vibrations either at 80 plus mph. So we all good here!!!

OK, I'm going to buy them, but not just because they are good or the company is, but hopefully because I'll benefit over what I have now.

I know they're hubcentric, but does that really help? I mean it's just a spacer, it doesn't do anything to make the wheel centered. I'm not saying that doesn't, just curious. I could see that they could be more true, an exact 3mm across vs maybe the cheapos aren't and I can see that causing a problem, but I don't fully understand how the spacer being hubcentric would make a difference for shimmy in the steering wheel.

Can someone explain this?
