help with my project

hi for all the forum members,im from Peru South America and i have a 1971 dodge challenger with a 6.1 hemi engine from a srt8 chrysler 300 2007 and i want to nkow if you guys can help me with the transmition how it work and if i need a especial ecu to work with and where can i find a complete replacement shifter to the 5 speed auto gear box becasu thas the only part i need to complete my project i will apreciate your help a lot, this are some espec off my engine combo

stock 6.1 hemi
xv motorsport fuel injeccion
tti headers
haltech e6x

hey peruviansrt8. that's an interesting project you're working on. hope you'll post pics along the way.

the NAG1 transmission which was originally mated to your 6.1L engine requires a seperate TCM (transmission control module) and a ESM (electronic shifter module), which is part of shifter.
any used parts you need can probably found by Cleveland Pick-A-Part (http://www.lxforums.com/board/forumdisplay.php?f=216), one of our supporting vendors.

thanks for the link im going to check it at once, and yes its very interesting project and very complicated because we dont have overhere the stores that sales all the accesories i need to complete the swap any way thanks again and i will post some pics soon thanks a lot
