Hey LX,

While driving in San Diego today on the 5, I spotted a silver 300 convertible with the top down....who's car is that...I want one.

Don't forget about the discount on the MGP Caliper Covers it ends this month.

WHO'S GOT THE 300 VERT?

I seen a few online and they have a Cool Vanilla one bye my house. Looks good with top off but weird with the top on to me. If they ever came out with a hard top that would be nice!

Looks pretty good, I vaguely remember Car/Driver posting some cg pics of a 300 convertible that was rumored to be in the works.

I wonder what kind of structural issues are created when these shops take the tops off? I do like it though...:thumbs_u:

A couple of my buddies said they saw one in concord, ca buit I didn't get a chance to see it, but that one posted is sick!

I saw it a few years ago once and only once.

I was surprised to see it out and about actually and it didn't look too bad either.

That Black one in the pic with the cop behind it was created by West Coast Customs. The car was given to West Coast Customs to make a unique one of a kind car for SEMA that year. The car has tons of TV and electronics! The kicker is that its not a Vert its a chopped top and has no top. Sorry to disappoint anyone but that part that looks like a top cover when its down is nothing more then a sued covered addition to the non existent back seats! The back doors were just welded solid to the body and then it was repainted to appear factory.

Alice Cooper had a 300C Vert, I saw it on ebay a few months ago. Amazing car, IMO. I think his was done by WCC too.

i think chrysler did make some from factory...i saw a few at a dealer near me. they look like this http://www.telechem.com/7ups/300.htm#main. they still have the pillars and it reminds me of the PT loser convertible

There's a Charger running around Fernley NV that is a full on convertible. I've seen it with top up and down. Top up it looks like one of those fake one that are applied to a hard top with glue.

Not my personal cup of tea, but each to his own.

I saw the Silver 300C Convert today around Mission Bay near Pacific Beach.

Top was up and looked like it had a nice solid rear window. The convertible top looked very clean like it was done right.

This is the second time I've seen it in SD now.

What you need a top for anyway? I had a ragtop when I lived in LA and the first lesson I learned is YOU NEVER PUT UP THE TOP. Even a bum will have no hesitation to taking a knife to your precious, then what you gonna do? 18 months I had that car the only time I put up the top was to run it through the car wash on Sunset. If you're gonna have a ragtop in socal, seems to me the number one rule is to never leave anything in the car (not even a few pieces of change in a cup holder) and never put the top up!

Oh yeah.. that 300 conversion with the pillars looks like a$$. Why would someone do that to a car?
