I was walking the local Chrysler dealer and found this Gem. Its as close as you can get to a 300C. I have never seen less than a 300C with steering wheel controls, and it even has the C front end.
Of couse it is in the best color you can drape over a 300.
Here is the link.

I dont know the 300 all that well, but I can tell you the charger has the SXT LOADED.....its a R/T minus the 5.7. Then a very select few got EVIC.

I believe it started for the 2008 model year.

There has always been the limited model with the EVIC and all the wood grain options with the v6. However it did not have the 300c front end before 2008.

Kinda steals the thunder of the big HEMI guys when they look the same... but as a decision made by Chrysler... its not like its going to make the market worse by having "knock off" C's out there... its just a model change..... makes about as much sense and redoing the Magnum then killing it though!

I used to feel the same way. That they were making it hard to tell what version a person had. And I only have the 3.5.
But to the majority of people that do not read car forums, the models all ready look the same. Its typically a car enthusiast that will know about the different front ends
I showed my car to a friend of mine and then pointed to a nice 300C near by and said I wish mine was as nice as that one.
Her answer was "No I like yours better. I dont like that ones colour"
Because I know so much about these cars and I have the 3.5 Im painfully aware of what my car is missing but to the average joe/jane they are same car.

300 limited (05-07) are pretty much 300C without the hemi and has the v6 front end, until 08 when they started putting the C front end on em.
so now it literally is the same as a C without the hemi (and i think memory seats)

I know when I went walking around the local chrysler dealer a couple months ago looking for a 300 for my fiance, I noticed there were a few that had SRT badges but didn't have the 8 on it so I asked the salesman and he said that they looked like the SRT8 minus the 6.1L! I would be pissed driving one of those knowing that under the hood was not what it should be. That would be like some chick stuffing the hell out of a bra to find out she's an A cup!

lol those r 300C SRT Design's
they came from the factory like that, all the styling extra of the SRT8's but not the engine. those badges probably said SRT Design on it.

AHHH this kind of thing drives me crazy. Although like a couple people said to the average driver they don't know the difference between an SRT or V6. When we were looking for our 300C I saw the "SRT Edition" 300 and just wondered who would buy that? Reality is, not everyone takes these cars as seriously as some of us do and they just want what they want. To that I say to each there own...

ok guys just so yall know, and for those that think they are dub models you are incorrect. in 2008 chrysler switched the v6 models front fascias to the "C"'s front end to keep production costs down since they only have to make one style front fascia now, as well as a seperate lip for the srt8. so i guess you didnt know nolaboi...guess your not much of a car addict huh? the dub edition comes with the charger rt8 style rims, which this car does not have, it includes a special grill, which this one does not have. so please for now on if you dont know, please dont misinform people due to your ignorance.

I know my touring is setup better then most c's of the same year. I got mine with 2 tone leather, nav, sunroof and I rarely see c's that have factory nav let alone the sunroof and I don't think any but the srt's got the leather in two colors.

Heh, with the Magnums .... at least the 2005-2007's, just a swap of the 17's to the 18's makes the SXT look just like the R/T. I didn't do it to be a poser, I just wanted a wider tire so I had to go up a size wheel. I kept the 3.5 badges on the side and I still have the single exhaust. But like a couple of people have said, most people don't know one form the other. In fact, sounds crazy, but some people don't even know what engine is in thier own car! Quite a few times I've talked to someone and I say something like, "is that the 3.0 V6 in you car?" And they say, "I'm not sure"....
Geez .... when I buy a car, the first thing I find out is what size motor is under the hood.
