View Full Version : Supercharged Magnum Dyno

So I took the car to the dyno...

It did not go well :blam:

We set it all up to go, I hit the ESP button till it was deactivated, put her in 3rd gear, held her at 55mph for 4 sec then let her rip for a preliminary pull. Everything went fine.

So we get set-up for the real pull, checking to make sure all the dyno sensors are in place, same thing as above only this time I mash the pedal it takes off like before, but then around 75mph, the car bogs down really bad almost like the computer closes the throttle!?!?

So long story short, we mess with everything trying to get a good pull out of her, but nothing :sad:

We can't figure out what is going on, It doesn't do it out on the street.

Any help?

You held the ESP button in for over 8 seconds to fully disable it? If the 08's aren't different from the previous SRT's then there should have been an audible beep as well.

Yep, it was fully off.

intermittenly my BAS/ESP and [BRAKE] light would illuminate while trying to do the runs.

i have a 07 magnum that i just ordered a techco blower for it. hope i don't have the same problem.

No it works great on the street, just dyno problems.

Use the ESP off / Dyno mode setting in the Predator?
This will fix it. It is the ESP system kicking in.

The function in the Predator to disable ESP is actually the same function in a StarScan that puts the car into "Emmissions rolls test mode" AKA dyno mode.
