Need Heep with trunk latch....

I have a 300c 2007 the trunk latch will not close if i slam the trunk...down it doesnt close...its like the latch is in the closed postion and wont click on the bar if you know what i mean,,,Any ideas please......

try putting the key in the keyhole in the trunk and trying to unlock it, I have had this happen in my wife's mitsubishi

I fixed it the bumper was bumped not that hard but it moved the latch so i have to re-adjust it tomorrow...when i can see....:)

if your battery dies just crawl through the car and release the latch inside the trunk :)
