Rear defroster / defogger problem, help! [Archive]

:banghead:Does anyone know of a repair kit for the rear defroster/defogger lines on the window? I have sector that is not working. And it's that time of year....

Can't help you but I feel your pain. Nothing worse than ice on the rear window.

Have you tried Napa,Auto Zone or P. Boys for a repair kit?

there is a repair kit. any dealership should have it. i had mine on my maggie repaired at the dealer for adout 50 bucks. they paint it on like fingernail polish...

Since this came up, i finally am remembering to ask this, but as far as I can remember, since taking delivery 3 years ago, the top 2-3 lines on my defogger do not work, is that normal? I see the wires in there, but they don't seem to work.

those lines are you radio antenna
