Maybe a meet or something.. Anyone got any plans? people are going to think the NW sucks.

BTW, ive been seeing alot of Magnums around milwaukie/oak grove. A blue AWD magnum flashed their lights at me and waved, i did the same back. Was that anyone of you?

I am down here in the Eugene area, and as far as I can tell the only Oregonian forum member outside of Portland metro. I missed the June MnG in Seattle but will definitely try to make the next one.
Come to think of it, while I've noticed a smattering of LX's around town I have only seen 3 Hemi's EVER: one Magnum (red), 300C (silver), and Charger (same silver one twice). Where's everyone at??

For all you lurkers outside the NW, it does suck. You definately don't want to live here! (sorry... old Tom McCall fan here! )

Seriously, I'm up for any suggestions. Would love to have another get-together. I was the only Oregon representative at the South Center meet last month.

Howdy neighbors. We live just a scant hundred miles north of the Oregon border and drive an R/T. It is close to the halfway point between Portland and Seattle on I-5. We really like your state. Maybe some of us will meet up yet. :thumbs_u:

Has anyone ever attended a concert at the Amphitheater in Jacksonville? We wanted to see Mark Knopfler there but it's sold out. He's sold out in Portland too.

I go to Portland for business once or twice a year. I'll even rent one and join in, if the timing helps! :) (Sorry, the drive would be just a bit much!)

Unfortunately, since Portland is a 7 hour drive (would be much less if it weren't for your lovely Oregon State Troopers) for those of us in Boise, I would want to make it an all-weekend affair.

...say for a track day at the Portland Raceway (http://www.portlandraceway.com/default.asp)?

Aren't those guys just a total PITA!?!

A track day / weekend event sounds like a great idea. I wonder though, if we can get enough interest (and the correct timing) to get something together? It's worth a try though!

Im down for a weekend at the track, i wanna see what my Magnum runs around PIR. Ive never done competitive driving, sounds like more fun on a track then on the streets.

keep in mind that it rains half the time, so we would have to be watching the news often... damn Oregon rain (dirty rain too, Black is an awful color here.)

I don't know what they offer at P.I.R., but if it's like the Performance Driving course I'm going to on Monday, they run rain or shine. Actually (after this first event) I would enjoy a chance to do a course in the rain. After all, that's how half our driving is done in this state!:p

Another Portlander here, well.. actually Sherwood. We should all try to hook up sometime this summer, it would be nice to put faces to names.

Hey, Sherwood's close enough. Glad you joined in. Looks like we're getting a little larger group now. Maybe we can get something going!

Mumzie & I are interested to see what our R/T
would do at the Woodburn Drag Strip.

Anyone else interested?

Hey I live In Woodburn LOL! I have never been to the drag strip (I know its sad)
However my lil 3.5L wouldnt be quite what your talking about at the drag strip.
but it does sound fun at least to watch if nothing else.

WE HAVE to do something this summer. I mentioned the 3 Capes drive on another thread. We could end in Pacific City ( A brew pub is always a great destination)
hope to hear from you guys again.
