Ok Guys I Need Some Literature From All Yall "SMARTER THEN ME PEOPLE" which is basically Everybody..HAHA. Im Wondering if I Take The Rotors Off a RT and Put Them On My SXT(V6 RWD) Is It Gonna Make a Diff in My Stopping Power, Or Do I Need To Just Poney Up Some Dough For Rt Calipers Too? Thanks Ahead Of Time To All LX MEMBERS for Your Responses.

Cameron, I believe you will need the calipers as well. Even if the RT rotors are compatible with the SXT calipers, I really don't see an improvement since the caliper is pumping the same amount of pressure on a yet bigger rotor, but the contact of the pad will still be the same. If that makes any sense.

Define cheap? For the right price I would upgrade and sell you mine. I'm only kidding man. You might want to PM Junior since he recently upgraded to the Brembos. That all I know since I was tempted on his Wilwoods.

i basically would take calipers, pads, and rotors...like 150 sounds good...for only fronts...

Here I am!
In theory, you would get better stopping power from larger rotors, since you're clamping further away from the axis (kinda like leverage, in a way) - but that assumes the V6 calipers will fit on R/T rotors, like gameover said - and I can't see how they would.
Even if they would, and even looking at the theory, it's not going to be a big difference - probably not a noticeable one.
So you're looking at rotors and calipers at the minimum, but everything I've seen says that they swap right on.

Yeah, but with the R/T rotors your adding more weight too right?

True, but given the overall weight of these sleds, it's negligible. If we were talking about an 800lb quad, then 10lbs of extra rotor might matter. Here, not so much.

Not exactly easy, but not terrible. I *think* the swap should be the same onto an SXT as onto an R/T, but I don't know that.
Here's some info:
