my condolences rob. that's truly awful news. kinda hits home too as i have friends and family in the forces and are routinely deployed. makes you realize even more how special it is when they come home unharmed.

Rob, you, your niece and the rest of your family have our deepest condolences.

The work that our Armed Forces do is outstanding. I know that they do it with such pride and show the world what Canadians are made of. I for one am proud to have our men and women out there repersenting Canada!

I think I can speak on behalf of everyone here, that if your niece needs our help in any way, all you need to do is ask!!

I also think that we -the members DLXD -need to show our suppourt for him by showing up at the HIGHWAY OF HEROES when he comes home!!

Again our family sends our deepest sympathy to your family.

Although this is a sad and terrible time for his family Rob, his sacrifice will make this a better world. For his loss and all of the men and women who have died serving Canada, I am truly thankful. God Bless.

The soldiers are expected to leave Trenton around 3:00pm, arriving in Coburg around 3:35pm, Oshawa around 4:15pm, and Scarborough around 4:45pm, finally arriving downtown around 5:15pm.

I will be in Woodbridge this afternoon, but I'm hoping to be back in Pickering for around 4:00pm. If someone could update this thread with the location that the group will be gethering, I'd like to try and join you to pay my respects to these brave individuals.
