Is $22,9 a good price for an 06 SRT Mag with 20k miles? May be doing something stupid tomorrow http://dfwlx.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif. I was thinking for them to come down on the price but requestin at least $15k for my Honda. Thoughts anyone?

DO your homework and you'll do just fine :)

Good comparisons here http://www.cars.com/go/search/search_results.jsp?tracktype=usedcc&sortorder=descending&sortfield=PRICE+descending&criteria=K-srt%7cE-ANY%7cM-_12_%7cH-%7cD-_3662_%7cN-N%7cR-10000%7cI-1%2c7%7cP-PRICE+descending%7cQ-descending%7cX-popular%7cZ-46158&aff=national&searchType=22&numResultsPerPage=50&largeNumResultsPerPage=0&certifiedOnly=false&pageNumber=1

The one I'm looking at is at the top of that list. I'm hoping to get at least $15K for my Honda. That will make (2) Mags in the stable!

Oh yeah, with it being the end of the month and I'm sure they are trying to get the maggie's off the lot. I know what I want to pay a month and I know how much I want for my Honda. I'm sure they will work it if they want it.

This might be something you've already thought, but I would suggest not talking to the dealer in terms of payment. As a strategy they can always lengthen the term/duration of a loan to suite a target payment and end up screwing you on the sale price.

I would suggest haggling on a sale price for the vehicle then your trade and don't let them even bring up monthly payments. In my opinion financing is a by product of the sales term and should not be part of the negotiations.

Anyways--I'm sure this is probable what you intended and happy hunting. Let us know...

I've been doing alot of looking and a little dealling in the last month or so. That price is on the high side of average. I would think you could bring them down closer to 20K. I have seen a couple sell out from under me with 30-50K miles for 17-19K

like you said if you get in there tomorrow and deal you will have the end of the month working for you. They always want the sales numbers up.
