Does anyone know anything about that Classic Challenger option coming out in the spring? Price and availability would be nice to know.

Mostly just small tidbits coming out on the Spring Special. Last that I saw was Dec-Jan ordering time frame with delivery in the summer and cost around $40K. Mostly just speculation right now. Even the dealers don't know specific's yet.

Thanks for the information. That is a bit more than I will spend. To bad, it sounds like a real nice car.

I do have a Camaro on order but am becoming torn as I think the photo of the classic R/T is very nice. From what I see it is jut a stripe, functional hood, and rims. Is there anything else in that package?

This what Motor trend had to say:
Motor Trend, here's what we can expect to get in the Classic:
"From what we understand of the brochure, included in the package is the B5 livery, 20-inch chrome wheels, scripted Challenger side badges, wide side stripes and performance vented hood. Inside the cabin, blue trimming covers the dash with more pronounced sport seats keeping the driver and front passenger secure."
What will all this cost? The 20" chrome wheels available on the R/T are a $1350 option. The Classic package, with even better chrome wheels among the other things, will be in the $2000 price range. With many existing R/Ts on the lot window stickered at $38K or more, the Classic could top $40K MSRP.

motortrend pisses me off
it wont be 2000 for rims becuase if you look at dodges accesories pdf file it clearly is 200-300 cheaper(too lazy to go check but def not 2000) it was 1800 i believe.
it will probably be 40k dealer markup but msrp 35-37......40 fully loaded

Got an e mail from a Chrysler rep this morning with updated info on the Classic Challengers. Looks like more than B5 blue color choices too!
The R/T Classic can be ordered in December with January production. The B5 Blue R/T Classic might be available to order the last week of December, but most likely first week of January. I'll check on that when I get back to the office this week.
B5 Blue R/T Classic is a February production vehicle.
This below is from the Challenger Engineers chat and fits right in with the(above) info I got.
Classic Package will include a 20" Rallye style polished wheel, the dual wide side stripe from past R/T models, active hood scoop and Challenger script badge.
We will build in Hemi Orange, B5 Blue, TorRed, Black, Silver, White.

well i talkk to a dealership earlier this week and its base price is 34900 but it comes with those sharp ass rims so if u add that to a plain r/t with rims and leather its almost the same; they said i should be able to knock a few thousand off the sticker price but not as good as the employee pricing which i screw around and miss but it could be for the better because i like the classic better :)

Classic Editions started to come off the line this week. Only a handful, should see more next week. Then we are laid off for a week.

The employee pricing is gone for the challanger, so doubt it. My local dealership said he can get close to invoice, but that is his best offer
Are they making only a limited amout?
Yes, they are only making a limited number, plus they are available to order now, and the standard R/T is on restriction until next month, so it looks like the clasic is being built now.
