Just wondering what you guys thought? Maybe you have color suggestions for our company car?

It has composite front and rear fenders, "shaker" style hood, spoiler and mono-tone paint scheme.

It's also lowered, exhaust, headers, with a vortech blower. It was our favorite car at SEMA.

Don't take this wrong, but... are those stick-on rear quarters to make it a widebody? I kinda dig the look. What's unique that's going to make it the first/only?

Those kits actually look tight with the right body color. I had my doubts untill I saw them in person.

Hows that Pypes exhaust sound?

Not sure about the stick on. I pretty sure it has to be fastened down. I definintely would cringe at drilling holes into a new car skin.

Here is a link to a Pypes video/sound of their exhaust.

I like the black / gray and the orange / black. It seems to be just me, but I don't get the white / black (or the Hurst white / gold). I really like the black / gray, though.

Any plans for a plum crazy / black or sublime / black?

What's the expected price on such a beast?

It can be done in any color combination I am sure.

We can basically do this in any color combination. The rear fender can be painted to match any color that is offered from factory or flat black. I personally I like the black on black.

IMO, it won't look good painted to match. It needs the clash and pop off the paint job to look good because it is a bolt on. Your results may vary :)

not a fan of the CDC shaker. thats about it.
i mean.. not only the look/design of the shaker (and their charger shaker is ugly too..)
but to me, the whole purpose of a shaker is to be a functional direct intake for fresh air...
these are just to look pretty(and they dont).. because they dont even direct air to the blower.. now if they did. .that would be way sick.

aside from that. me like lots :)

i also seen this at sema and talked to a rep at cdc, it is a good idea but falls a lil short on executing it perfectly, with a couple of tweaks it should be good, The piece is a stick on i dont know if its tape or bolts but the oe 1/4 panel is still there. Good luck with your sales

From what i remember, the front fenders are widened 3" on either side, and are completely new bolt-ons. The rear 'bill boards' are also 3" wider on either side... I think they had a 20x12 on the rear, and 20x10 up front. The guy I talked to said it was 'trans-am' race car inspired, not meant to compete w/ the DUB scene...

Pypes: arrrrgh ....that God awful trumpeting sound under acceleration... what ever happened to my beloved 1970's deep rumble exhaust note ... am I THAT old ?

hey guys, here's a picture of the same car you have in your post:

http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w217/robmd21/Challenger1.jpg

it's built by Tommy Pike in South Carolina. he's a great friend of mine and i'm wondering why you aren't giving any credit to the people who really built these great cars but your website is all over the pics.?

probably just an oversight, right?

That's a wonderful car.

The paint scheme is great and we hope Tommy sells a bunch of them.

We might have needed to rephrase our opening sentence to be more specific. We were talking about the first car, the black challenger. Of course, all the cars are very nice and we will build some incredible versions.

But if I am not mistaken CDC manufacturers the body kit which is used on the TPC car and the other Challengers shown here. Last I checked you and your friend werent the only one trying to sell or use this kit.

Furthermore, WE NEVER CLAIMED to have built any of these cars, specifically TP's orange car. Only stated we wanted to build a duplicate of the black.

These are all images from the SEMA show, which we took and own. We never jumped on anyones nuts here. Your car was shot by more than just us and asking for LX member opinions on SEMA cars is not against the rules.

But that's all niether here nor there. We don't plan on getting into an argument about a thread taken out of context.

Times are tough and we actually gotta pay to post on here. Our only goal is to provide top notch service to the LX community, not spend time argueing over who built what for a show.

For the record Tommy Pike is a class guy and he does build sick cars. We hope he sells a ton of special editon TP Challengers.

Hopefully, they'll be fitted with some of our parts.
