Where are the rest of you guys? Would love to know who"s really supercharged and maybe a little story on how you got there(ex., did you try to boost back in 05 and went though a few engines, or do you own your own shop where you have the ability to toy with the sc, or maybe you just bought a new kit out there that so far works). Would love to here from the owners of the car...I really do think we are in a class of are own.:beerchug:

70 views and no response... ok , i'll go first.. it's kinda like introducing yourself to a group of people with way more problems than you.....Hi, my name is Nick and i'm supercharged,...It started off with some simple headers and a cat back, I thought i could handle it but it just didn't seem enough... super chips fed my hunger for a month or so but i just needed more.. then more ,and more till soon i realized i was installing my 3rd engine with low compression pistons , and there was nothing i could do,,,nothing...ok you try!!!

Now we're making progress,. Sergeo, this why i think this thread could be useful, hearing stories,from s.c. owners, about why their cars are not making power like we thought or not seeing thoses track times way lower
than before the boost was slapped on...now to answer your ??, My numbers for the dyno(not all dynos are the same) are not that impressive,before boost, i was around 340's running 13.1's...after boost(6psi), around 450's..(had to stop at 5900rpms)..i did get a run in with the s.c. on but only ran with about 2psi...just like you sergeo, i'm still trying to get it to work right:modding:

Oh and part of the Supercharger deal was for me to get snipped. (not lying)

My name is Jerry and I'm a boost junkie. I started with a stock 5.7 and the GSM kit it with headers. 8 psi of boost turned pretty boring after a couple weeks. I then went to a fully forged 6.4 and cranked the boost up to 10 psi. Every now and then I could get 11 psi. I needed more boost so I opt to switch out the 1200 and upgraded to the 1500. That got me to 13 psi. I needed more boost so I pullied down and I'm now running at 15 psi, but again, I need more boost. I'm now looking at a Procharger. When will it ever end? lol

supercharger exposed many weakness in my car like trans and a few other minor things, so that is what i am working out right now
the tune is basically done so i am past that obstacle, but like i said nothing against your service as an installer

It's ok jected, we are here for you.:friday:I don't know about how you guys feel about going to the track, but being the sole owner of my "daily driver" and not having a sponsor to pay for broken parts or use of a tow truck , driving that 2 hours to and from the track could indeed make for sleepless nights,... just another reason why this thread(meeting) could be useful to us.....cheers:beerchug:

That's quite a bit of ponies (525 rwhp) to be throwing at a stock bottom end. And here I am being apprehensive about applying 400-450 rwhp to a stock 5.7 rotating assembly. Beans to you.

I wouldn't even worrie...it's gonna be a blast when you get it done! I just picked up my car today after adding a 2800 stall......Talk about getting shot out of a cannon! and shifts are so smooth! well worth the $$$!

My best 1/4 mile time to date is an 11.7 @ 123mph on 275 toyo proxies
I havent broken anything, have had the tranny serviced @40k and no sign of issues
It is my daily driver & has done about 8k with the blower, fuel economy is a little worse, probably because i hear this little voice inside my head telling me to fry the back tyres all the time??
That probably is a relavant issue though, because my rear tyres are about 10k old and are about 1/3 tread.

I think that brings the count up to 10, ......10, you know something, that's not alot of superchargers, no wonder why it took so long to get mass produced s.c.'s on the market. what's your guess on how many people are blown? Ican't imagine someone who has a supercharger yet never bothered to do a search on the lx forum....thoughts??
