I was looking through pics of SEMA and ran across this. Did anyone who went happen to see this car? Any other info on it?

Seems to me that they must be close to releasing a kit. There were two Challengers with the identical Kenne Bell blower there. The one shown here was in the Corsa booth.

Supposedly Mr Norm Was going to make 2 different versions one called the "Super Challenger" and the other called "Super Cuda". I also read somewhere online that it would be released for purchase.

All that work done and so much left stock. Not very show-car quality to me.

They put one on an 03 Hemi Ram, but never released a kit to market even though numerous people contacted them interested in a kit.

They claim they couldn't get the tuning down, yet there were solutions available that were being used in other FI applications other than aux injectors.

I would like to see them release a kit for the LX platform as well, but based on past experience...I won't be holding my breath for one anytime soon.

I contacted them a long time ago asking if they were going to do one. I talked to some guy that said it is in the works and they are planning on doing one. When I called back a lady told me that they were never going to come out with a blower for the Hemi. WTF! No one hinted at Sema at all. But its good to see that they are being smarter about this instead of letting ProCharger and Vortech own the market.

What irks me it that all of the sudden the Challenger SRT hits the market and BAM...Saleen, Kenney Bell, Vortech, ProCharger and other companys are all slapping there set ups in Challengers. WTF....the SRT8 motor has been out since 2005....I guess there is just no go-fast love for a 4200 lb., 4 door grocery getter....

Isn't there a 09 Challenger SRT stick test mule running around Detroit with a Mopar supercharger on it? My dealer mentioned something about that.

Anyone know more about this and what type of SC is on top of the 6.1....Vortech re-branded?

We have a beta unit on the way to us for our 2009 6-speed SRT-8 Challenger. Once the mods make me a supporting vendor (I have sent info for this) I'll elaborate more on whats going on with the blower and our shop car. I don't want to break any rules.

It is for real, it will be produced and sold, and I'll have dyno #'s and track times within a few weeks on the new 2.8H. We have a 2v mustang running 9.20's (alot of other 2v's running mid 9's as well) with this blower and only 281 cubes, imagine the potential in a Challenger.

According to Mr. Norm, there's still trying to get a tune in their KB Challenger. I've been dreaming of a KB supercharger for a Gen III Hemi build since 2003.

Mr. Norm came to MN for the Midwest Mopars car show. He was REAL interested in our truck transmissions and modified valve bodies for his Mr. Norm pickups. The conversation turned into.... I have to pay you how much? to put our stuff into your trucks? WTF :blam: Did you get the same from Mr. Norm Nathan?

Any info on pricing? I have a 71 DEMON with a 6.1 in it with a 5 speed tremec trans. I am also using AEM engine management. This would be a nice upgrade to the car .
Does it have a air to water intercooler?

We got the beta kit yesterday, and yes it is an A/W setup. The 2.8H mammoth is HUGE.

We will start the install next week but probably wont get it done and dyno'd until after Christmas.

The kit is not available yet. I'll post the release date once KB tells me we can.

I'll post install pics as we go.

This would be the only other supercharger i would like to have other than the ProCharger im in love with that whine these things make. Cant wait to see how it turns out.

Would be good to see how it stacks up against the Whipple 2.4L & 2.9L kit (even my 3.4L - nah no comparison :)) - now watch the KB better, no Whipples better comments come through hehehe LOL!

Good to see them finally come about though. What stage are you up to with development. How long has this been in the design and fab stage. If its still yet to be istalled this won't see results until at least Jan/Feb next year surely.

The nice thing about a Kenne Bell over a Procharger, Vortech etc is the instant boost.
The TQ curve will be massive over the other blowers. We plan to step it up with this setup. I've made over 900rwhp with a 281 2valve mustang and a Kenne Bell. This 6.1 should pass the mustang #s by a long shot once we build the bottom end.

Yeah im trying to talk my buddy into buying a Keene Bell for his 03 Cobra instead of getting a port job.
Im going to have to put one of these on my wish list

We should have it completely installed after the holidays. We are starting out with 7 psi, then turning it up to 13-14psi and adding a cam and headers.
I really want to see how fast it will go on the stock engine. Of course we will be running race gas on anything over 8 psi.

I'll get pics of the install up today.
