So as I was having the rear tires replaced today the shop pointed out that the rear had a very strange wear pattern. The inside of the thread was down to the cords while the outside had good thread left..

I always keep my tires at 32 psi ( 245/45/20, stock RS-A). But I wonder if this could be something from hitting the dear last fall...could it have screwed up my over all alignment????? Help me experts :)

Well the rears don't have adjustments as i remember. My camber is off pretty badly to, but not to the point where its wearing out tires. Couple of people were supposed to be trying aftermarket kits to adjust camber, maybe someone can chime in.

As a suspension guy, the camber is certainly off with that kind of wear... the tire is tilting inward at the top for that kind of wear... something may be bent. On cars with no adjustments its tough. I remember having to sometimes slot strut holes and use shims and all kinds of wierd stuff depending on the car... but there really isnt any guarantee it will hold the alignment if you could adust it. You certainly need to do something though.. tires are not cheap. Keep us posted.

I lowered my car 2" and have some negative camber at the rear wheels. I do not have abnormal wear. The toe-in adjustment being off can cause some pretty severe inside tire wear. I'd have that checked also.
