I finally decided to go with these tires and ordered them 2 weeks ago. Went to have them installed today. I love the 1" wider look and the design. Here is a link to more info on the tires: http://www.toyo.com/docs/tires/tires.asp?lpid=40036&name=Proxes%20ST%20I The installer looked at the new size and questioned if they would rub or not. I assured him they would not and when he was finished he was impressed they did not rub. Sorry for the sub-par pics, used a different camera this time. That and it was late in the day and the sun was going down.

Nothing like a nice set of 255x55x18 tires.

Yes, they came mostly on the 300's. This was a corporate vehicle when I purchased it. I suppose those guys can get it set up any way they want. I have not seen another Magnum in person with them, but I've seen a couple on the site here.

Thanks for the info no these CEV, I finaly had mine installed today. This width tire should have been installed from the factory!! Although I could not afford the toyos. I got coopers and so far so good.

Ditto on the 255/55's! Quite a lot of choices in that size now.

I would have to say very well. I do have an AWD though and that helps a lot. Our roads have been snow packed for awhile here and the anti-lock brakes do kick in a bit when I come up on a stop light a little to fast. I would buy them again. :)

Hay you made a good pick, i brought these tire last week for my srt 300C. They are a good tire, Even in rain and snow. I have 275/40/20 in the back, and 255/45/20 in the front. i just came back from NC, i hit snow in NJ , and the tires handled very well:wink:.

I also have the Toyo's. Haven't had any snow to speak of yet, but otherwise they are great. No additional noise levels that I can pick up on.
