This month's theme was: "Deserted/Abandoned"
Voting Ends: Saturday, November 1st
(early Sunday morning, actually)

Well, we took 32 really great submissions, and narrowed it down to four!

The winner will choose next month's theme, and wins a $50 credit towards any purchase at AE Carbon!

*** This month, let's let the photography stand on its own. No need for campaigning or getting the vote out. I think most everybody here has been on one end or the other in the past, and it just never sits right. So let's leave that behind. ***

They are all great in their own way, though.

Yeah we are lucky to have a place called "Nothing" I dont think that anything says deserted or abandoned like "Nothing" LOL

All of the finalists are great. Talk about a tough choice.

Theme wise- BritishNate is #1, not a thing in the picture that looks new or current besides the mag. Danny's building makes me think of ghosts just looking at it and I am waiting for John Wayne to come out of crazy_lucks picture.

Picture wise- Damn Motor!!! What combo caused the green light? I want to take my lime there.

Truly amazing shots!

Mercury bulbs most likely. and with the white balance set at daylight or something near it exaggerated the difference in color temperature.

Wow a tie!

Hmm, this is starting to look like another election. And it's actually kind of spooky! Motor is from IL and BritishNate is from AZ. And we are in a dead heat! Man it must be Halloween!

Sorry crazy_luck and DannyBoy, I guess you guys get to pick between Bob Barr or Ralph Nader...

It was a toss up between BritishNate and crazy_luck, I thought those two best represented the theme.........Although Motor's shot is very good also...hmmmmm.......

Erghh...ehhmm...yeah...

I'd like to thank all that voted for my submission. It is greatly appreciated.
Big thanks to Junior as well for dealing with this and for making certain changes to the upcoming contests, hopefully it will work out for members participating in future contests.

You'll have a new theme shortly....i just need to work some details out with Junior to see how much i can torture you with requirements. Warm your camera's up...
