I went it to get a truck and saw this on the showroom floor:
http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w180/jrgoodman/09%20Challenger/newchallyshowroom.jpg
I saw this on the spoiler::panic:
http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w180/jrgoodman/09%20Challenger/challey3.jpg
I then I saw the price, under 30K. :blam:
http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w180/jrgoodman/09%20Challenger/chally4.jpg
http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w180/jrgoodman/09%20Challenger/chally5.jpg
Then I realized it was a SE, with SRT leather seats, chrome fuel fill, spoiler, SRt hood graphics, front spoiler , nice wheels, and I made a deal.
http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w180/jrgoodman/09%20Challenger/Challys1.jpg
she now seats next to my 72......... thought I would share my story even though it is only a SE, but I get my speed fill out of my 72

Um take the badge off.
Harsh weird.
First white one I've seen that is nice but the badge needs to go asap.
And I am paying less than 30k for my SXT here in Canada (not for sale in US apparently)

Dont worry about the SE man, when you get ready just drop a 500ci motor in it.
The way our cars dropped in value, that would have been the best way to do it. By a 16-17k SE charger, and put 15 gs into it, for a awesome freakin speed car.
Makes no sense to spend 45K, on a car, then take out all the parts to replace with better stuff. Start off with something low, and move up, and still be in the low.

he has done some great things to this cuda, he got it when he was 18, been offered a couple bucks for it, and passed. Pretty good for a young man. You can read all about it on his website - www.goodysgotacuda.com (http://www.goodysgotacuda.com)

Yea, it has 392 Hemi on the side........

This is exactly what I plan on doing, nothing differant then they did in the 70's. So in about 2014 this will be a hot car........:beerchug:

I've noticed that on a lot of Challengers. You can see it on the left side of my trunk in my signature. The fix was simple though.

Those are three great looking cars. Can't understand for the life of me why the dealer would slap a SRT8 badge on a V6.
Look out though, I hear there is a swarm of mod bugs in your area.

there are adjusters inside the trunk around where the trunk lid meets the weather stripping, near the bumper. kinda look like small knobs, black. just turn them and close the trunk till the trunk closes straight. i'll post pics in the morning if you haven't found them by then.

Up-badging is wrong, it cheapens the SRT8 brand for those of us who have real ones.

I'd bet the spoilers come with the SRT badge already attached. Maybe BT could hook you up with a more appropriate badge to replace it.

wow, sorry you feel that way - I do own a SRT, a 6.4, not the 6.1 :tinfoilhat: in my 1972 and it has no badging, so I call it equal.:beerchug:

they are on the Mopar site and they come in 17, 18 and 19. I am hoping they will let me trade 2 18's for 2 19's to give it the proper stance.

Did you get that from Central Florida Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge? If so, I remember seeing that car in the showroom when I bought my Grand Cherokee (in mid October). It was right next to the little table I was doing business with my salesman at. I loved the white on it, and the wheels are slick. Wasn't a fan of the SRT badge but oh well. Still a sweet ride!

Same here!!! They were offering 15K off sticker on 08 Rams. When I went in there it was slim pickin's though on what they had left. I think they had two bone stock V6's, two thunder roads, and one big black custom one.
Ended up buying a Grand Cherokee, lol.
