I'm gathering information on what the max tire size I can use when I put new 20" rims on my 05 Magnum RT. I'm beating the bushes for some Torq Thrust M's (20 x 8.5 20mm offset) but I've been shown a REV OE replica Bullet wheel that's damn close too.
I want a decent wearing tire that is about an inch larger in overall o.d. and I've been looking for a 245/50/20. By my own estimation I think they should fit OK in the wheel wells but I wonder if anyone out there knows for sure...
I will eventually be replacing the shocks/struts and lowering my ride with an Eibach spring kit. Again, I think a 50 series tire will fit but I'm not sure and they don't let you try them on and send them back!
Anybody got some real-world experience to share? Thanks, Tim B.
P.S. Recommendations on a good wearing tire would also be appreciated.
