toyo proxes 4------ got screwed!!!!

Had 4 new proxes 4 installed on the car 8 days ago. this morning at 4:00 AM on my way home from work, get a warning on the evic that the right rear tire is at 24 lbs. I just went out to check it, and find a large screw in it. not even 100 miles on them, and a flat already! this really sucks.

Dwight, sorry to hear that man. Is the screw in the threads or sidewall. In the thread and it can be patched. In the sidewall and ya need a new tire.

Did you buy the road hazard package??? I'm guessing not. Sorry for your misfortune.. I've had 3 nails in 2 cars in the last 8weeks.. I feel your pain. 5 new tires myself, one had a split tread. When it rains, it pours..

screw (1 3/4" long!!) was in the tread, not in the sidewall. the shop plugged the hole, and patched it on the inside. I put 30,000 miles on the RSAs, and not one flat!

They are a great tire though. I love them.
