I talked to a rep. over the phone asking what I will need to add the SRT 8 CArrier they were selling. They told me SRT8 axles and the Rear half of the SRT 8 drive shaft. I didn't order the axles from them, Thank God, but trusted in what they had to say and sell, and ordered the rest. Last Friday myself and other LXmembers were having a great time and doing the install. I don't blame PAP for making a mistake because I should have noticed before the work was started but I do blame them for not admiting to not sending me the right part. But instead Tom had the nerve to blame the INSTALLERS and than had the nerve to say I ORDERED the wrong part. That's funny because the invoice says what I orderd and I went by what the Rep sold me. NOw my car has been at a shop 1 hr away from me because they argued with me that I was wrong and messed up the order. Due to conflicting schedules I and the other members can only get to the shop Wednesday night,10-29, and they refused to send overnight unless I pay 100 plus dollars:wtf:. So now my car may have to be at the shop for another week!!!! I than spoke with Joe because Tom knew absoultely nothing, and he was even worse. The guy who said either pay 65 or get nothing. The man who wouldn't ship it overnight because Pick-A-Part literally just Picked-A-Part to just send. I am so pissed but I refuse to yell and curse over the phone like most people would have done if they got screwed over. Thank you TOM and JOE for a piss poor experience at your company. I will have pics on this thread so you can see what you sent to me.

Hello,
Hundreds of satisfied LX forum member may have a hard time believing this scenario. You ordered and received exactly what you asked for. You did not order "everything needed to make the swap" so from us at all, so it is not like we sold you a complete conversion package. You did not purchase the axles from us, which is one of the main parts of the conversion setup. You asked for the rear half of an SRT Driveshaft, and on your invoice it states you purchased a rear half of an SRT driveshaft, not a complete section including carrier bearing u joints etc. You also never asked for a rear half which included a carrier bearing.
Next, You were offered OVERNIGHT shipping which we would have only charged our cost and you did not take advantage of it which is not our fault. We would have waived the packaging and labor costs, and got it out the same day, at no extra charge. I know this maybe hard to believe, but we are a large company with other orders to fulfill and ship besides yours. So please do not try to disparage our company by saying we would not offer you that, when infact we did. We offer it to every customer who asks, and that includes yourself. If you are not sure of what you need to do when doing custom work to a vehicle, it is the buyer/owner's job to research and make sure you know what you are getting yourself into before you start a project. You can also simply ask us as well, and we would have been more than willing to help you with all the information and parts you needed.
Also, if you needed a bunch of parts to make one swap happen, buy them all from the same place if the option is available, it of course would insure you had everything available for the swap. In the end, this doesnt come down to my business "shafting" you, so your accusations prove false to us. Also, with all of your PM's containing foul language it shows that is a level of immaturity involved on your end that is working towards a negative reaction, not a postive solution. We work very hard to please our customers, but we also only what is asked for. We are not mind readers, and we never use foul and immature language to a customer, although in some cases such as this it could be warranted. This is our final post on this issue. Our facts have been stated, and we are moving on knowing that we did everything this customer asked for in a timely, as decribed, and on a one way street courteous manner. Thank you

Hemi31 asked that I include this comment:
since the u-joint is NON serviceable this would make the yoke and spline part of the rear half of the driveshaft.

Thanks Tom but you offered overnight shipping for around 100 bux or so which is a little crazy. And I thought I was pretty calm over the phone, in the pm's and emails. I am pretty sure you have satisfied plenty of customers which is great and that's why I went to you guys but if u look at the pics the shaft you sent is not useable. That is my point I have been saying since Monday. I can't do anything with that part what's so ever. So how am I wrong? I asked you guys what do I need and you told me. Just because I didn't buy the axles for you guys doesn't mean anything. I have SRT8 axles already.

I know you guys have satisfied plenty of LXers TOm thats why I went to you guys. Hey mistakes happen but you can fess up to it. Unless I missed a pm I thought I was fairly calm and polite even though you insulated my mechanic, saying they may not kow what they are doing. You are right I didnt order the axles because I got them cheaper so what does not ordering axles gotta do with the drive shaft? Oh I guess maybe being spiteful so send me part of the shaft.? I also asked for your help, which I doubt it was you I orginaly talked to, on what parts I needed. You guys said Axles, Rear Half of the Drive Shaft and the Carrier. Also Does it makes sense to not add the necessary parts to complete the install Tom? No it doesn't. When you buy something from the store that needs to be asembled, is it necessary for you, the customer, to buy screws, bolts, nuts, washers, etc seperate or does the manufacture supply these parts? I will let you answer that. Clearly the pics speak from themselves sir, that yoke and everything it contains was taken off and not by hand!!!
Now the overnight shipping ordeal, yes it was offered but I was not going to pay another 100 plus dollars for something to be corrected when it was wrong in the first place. So I pay for your mistakes? Doesn't make much sense to me. There was no reason to be a mind reader. I said I wanted your carrier and what else do I need to make the conversion. What part of the questions did you have to guess at? And whats so funny is that when I and my mechanic talked to you, you had no clue what we were talking about. That's why you passed me on to Joe,. Thank you for the carrier and 1.5 drivshafts.
