Hey guys, I've got a 2006 R/T with the road and track package. I'd like to keep the same wheels so I'm looking at a tire that would be 235/55-18. The
Dueler H/L Alenza
seems to be the top rated tire for that size, has anyone used this tire before? I know I could get a better tire if I went with a different size rim but I want to keep it stock.

They are great tires, but they are truck tires. While i think they would work very well on the Charger due to the weight.
The are a very good tire in the rain and dry, and employ the dual layer tread system that allows the tire to retain it's traction in the rain through out it's life, instead of getting harder with age and sucking in the rain like some other tires.
Bottom line, good tires.

thanx for the review, anyone else got some input. I'm sure everyone else just has think tires for the summer and some short 17's or hell even another car for the winter. Love to hear from anyone else.

No problem, I also run a Bridgestone/Firestone store, and this is the only All Season tire that we offer for it,
Other options are very limited, the Duelers are an upgrade from stock, but you are limited none the less

I made a few phone calls today, tirerack and a few other local places and they all told me that the bridgestone tire was a waste because it was a truck tire. They said I would lose performance and that I should go with something else. The most helpful guy I talked to suggested cooper tires, and a few others suggested the yokohama tires all in the 235/55 size. Tirerack said well the yokahama's are nice, but that I should go with the general aclaim tires and then go with a nice winter tire as well for a total of 1,200 bucks.
All I want is a year round tire. WTF????????:blam:
