Just can't get it together, is it the product, the tune, the driver or the track.
i just cant get in the 11's.
The track was 40 degree's, 2 runs then had to dial in.
I was shooting 100 shot, best top speed 118, best 1/4 time red light (.04) @12.354 and 115 mph.
No traction,
Last time for the year and was hoping for 11's.
My car # 4059

The was a 300c that was in the low 12's with no engine mod's nor N2o.

yep...this is from your 13.1 slip
2.578 to a 1.800 = .778
.778 X 1.5 = 1.167
13.193 - 1.167 = 12.026

Odds are you are spinning past the 60' mark, and if you are getting wheel spin on the shifts you are also losing time.

You can play with the RPM activation point and gear lock out if your window switch has it to help with traction.

Thanks, yes, spinning is my issue. I do have a window switch and the prior weekend I had it set for 2nd @ wot. I thought I would try in 1st @ 3500 wot. The ones in the tower said after I ran not to use N20 due to the track is cold and no traction.:blam:

Traction definitely seems to be your problem based on your slips. Your 60 ft times were all over the place with your best being 1.94 on your 12.35 run. Try letting some air out of the drag radials or heating them up more.

uhhh.... 300c means not an srt.. which means not a 6.1L

which means even with a predator and full boltons hed need slicks and have to pray for a 12.9

care to elaborate? im curious.
----
regarding your situation, id lose some air in the tires and pray for traction... i think its the only thing holding you back dude

It was a 300 SRT, lots of interior removed and race gas, d/r's,predator,cai, cut-outs.

learn to launch without the n20 then add in the n20

I have line lock and heat them for about 4 seconds or so and air pressure is at 17psi.

Agree, have not been lauching with and my average 60' for the year is about 1.9 to 2.2. This is my first year of racing so I have lots to learn.

Work on your launch and then you will see 11's easy. I ran a 12.34 on Toyo 275's at 24psi with just a 75 shot trapping 114 with a 1.94 60'. The only mods I have to my car is a AFE intake, Predator, and the nitrous. Everything else is stock.

Also sounds like little or no track prep, With 40* air and no2 you'll never launch good without some decent track prep!

I hate to say it but its your tires and 60fts like everone is saying. I was able to get a 315 Hooser drag radal on my RT with no fitment issues with with a light 17in by 9.5 rim with a 1/4 in wheel spacer. I can hit them whith almost all I have with out loss of tracion. But we are still limited by our wheel gemotry to launch at full Nitrous power thow.

Nittos are some time tires. They hook when they wanna hook.
Go to the MT or Hoosiers like every one else is recomending.

i had your same exact problem...spinning all over the place 2.3 and 2.4 short times and 117 traps..street tires..went to the track sat and ran my 26in m/t dot slicks first pass was a 12.02 at 118.0 with a 1.98 short time...second pass 11.68 at 118.9 with a 1.78 short time..in other words its all in your 60 foot get that down and you'll be deep in the 11's!!:thumbs_u:

Your rear tire pressure is too low as well......probably cupping the tire and reducing your contact patch. Also remember....for some reason on these cars the MPH is higher when the tires spin.......if you hook good you'll see the mph drop.

I recall you mentioning it before, the tire pressure that is. what was it again 22 lbs?
