First of all let me start by giving a BIG thanks to Ernie from 402 Motoring for helping a brither out last night whe I was stessing out BAD! I had sold my stocks and they where long gone then thought the wheels and tires I got wheren't going to fit. So I was STRESSING BIG TIME!

I had bought some 1/4" spacers and the fronts fit fine but the rears where still rubbing! Well after a long sleepless and restless night I got up early this morning and decided to try and put (2) 1/4" spacers on the back to see if that would work for clearence issues. So I put both rears on and dropped it down in the back..........oh did I mention the car was sitting on jack stands with now wheels on her...........and low an behold they cleared just fine. Well after some checking I noticed I had quite a bit of clearance now! So I jacked her back up and put just the (1) 1/4" spacer on which I intended to do in the first place.

Well shout man once I got both rears on and dropped her down in the back the clearances where fine! Another member.......sorry don't remember your name right now..........had stated that maybe I just needed to drop the car and they would be fine well cudos to him cause that is exactly what I needed to do! So I am a happy man this morning got all four wheels on and I am rollin again. She has a slight vibration at 75mph but none at any other speed and she drives straight as an arrow but I will cal lmy guy and find out about the slight vibration at 75mph since I drive ALOT of highway miles for work!

Thanks again to those that chimed in that is what these forums are all about!!

So here are some quick pics of the "NEW SHOES"

I'm gald you got them to work (or at least on the car) Please take me seroiusly and replace your studs with longer ones. The next problem that I see in your future may be some vibration problems. Because you using generic spacers to in effect change your offset you now cannot seat the wheel on the hub bore. Most likely these wheels have a huge 80mm + center bore size that you would need a hub ring to take up the difference between whatever the CB of the wheel is on the Cb of the Charger which is 71.5mm. Because you added the spacers the wheels may move around on you at speed thus giving you a vibration problem. Your only fix to that would be to have custom spacers made. There are companies online that can help you with that.

At least now you can drive the car.

Wow, perfect example of what not to do to make wheels fit. People if the wheels don't fit don't get them no matter the deal!

Hey Ernie,

Got them balanced and checked out today they are fine and no vibrations what so ever. The wheels where out of balance is the reason I had the vibration in the first place and we checked them even closer and there are no gaps and the hub fits tight against the wheel!

Thanks again for your help!
