View Full Version : "THE PACKAGE" Well here it is - Jected's Whipple 3.4L install

Well here it is, "THE PACKAGE" finally fiteed and revealed.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v668/jected/Engine%20Rebuild/v8srt8-0760.jpg

Now powering my purpose built 426 is Whipple's latest generation blower, the 3.4L Whipple Twin Screw and I cannot wait to drive it with this running.

There is still some fabrication work and fitment of other parts to still go into this, however the guys @ HP/F wanted to fire it up to check things are running right to this stage. They are happy with it and now the fun begins.

Still left to finish off are things like fitting up my Arrington throttle body, CAI and cold box, gilmer blower drive kit - blower to crank only (no the stock 6pk setup will not be driving the blower - the standard belt from factory will be put back in its place-the blower will be a stand alone belt setup) amounst other things.

Anyway here are the pics of it so far. Video of it running earlier today will be posted when i receive it.

LOL.....Thanks guys. I am definitely very very excited.

The bonnet definitely will not shut now with this setup. I am having a custom bonnet made to suit the setup and height of the blower. This will allow me to drive it on the street. I will also run a stock standard bonnet with the cutout of the blower taken out. It will just poke through I believe.

Once I have the video through I will definitely post up.

First thing that came to mind when I saw these pics was that there was no way in hell that hood was gonna close..... Guess I finally spotted something correct for once! ;)

She does look great though. Im sure I cant even fathom hwo bad you wanna drive her right now. Just watched Redfox pack up the Magnum tonight and start heading home, and his car came out like a monster. Wonder how you and him will stack up against one another....

Anyways, congrats again. Keep us posted!

Ed

LOL.......You know me :). I think I got a little carried away though but I love it.

The blower I am told will go 25psi maybe a little more. We can also open it up more to squeeze a little bit more out of it but I doubt it will come to that. The heads and block (mating surface) was modified and played around with to help seal and combat and prevent the possibility of liftng the heads. I would have been happy with an extra stud or 2 in each head, but I think with what the guys did and explained it I will be right.

Will run it on the street @ 8-10psi, and if we can run 25+psi through this and still make efficient power than I am happy to go for it. It could also be a possibilty that it makes more power at less boost but with less heat to. Either way I will soon know.

Will keep you updated.

Daniel.

Thanks mate.

No this is not a kit being offered through Whipple. The blower was sourced from Yella Terra in Melbourne Australia who setup the measurements, mounting and sandwhich plate for the guys at HP/F to then work with. HP/F cut up and modified my existing Bullet manifold and fabricated the core surround to tie it all in together. They also did the rear inlet housing to the blower, and are finishing off the CAI and air box. Some smart talented people working on this for me.

The fuel rails......They were the last ever set to be made and sold by Billet Technology and they are the best looking rails for our cars too IMO. Thanks to Steve(dyno) for finding them and gettinng them for me.

There is a Whipple 2.4L kit about to be released which was also manufactured, R&D by Yella Terra (apart from blower Whipple is not involved in this project project either). I believe it is very close. Kits have been thoroughly tested and has seen a local SRT8 giving it a workout for the last couple of months.

Thanks mate.

Its not so much the manifold lifting from the head that raises the concern, but the head lifting from the block. They have done what they can with the block/heads by O-ringing it however an extra couple of studs would be better (similar to the LSX setups.

When this was being discussed we looked over it all and it was pointed out to me the potential areas that could cause concern. By O ringing it, running head stud kit and running 50 thou commetics, this may be enough to avoid this happening. If it does lift there was talk that they may even try installing extra studs, but are unsure if this would even be possible.

Fingers crossed.

Yella Terra HAS made a production kit with a Whipple 2.4L to suit the LX platform INCLUDING GCSRT8 (if it is just a matter of reversing the rear intake).

The first and finished full production kit that has been fitted in place of the prototypes (used in testing) is now only waiting to be signed off as ready to hit the shelves.

PPP may just have a surprise regarding this kit very soon.

My first question after seeing this was if the block was 'O-ringed', thanks for posting that.

Thing is going to be a screamer for sure! IMO it looks much much better than the other one. I wouldn't purchase the other one based on looks alone but this one likes great.....throw me in that jealous bucket....

I noticed the intake manifold looks quite a bit taller than the original Bullet, is it a special casting or did you/they have it modified to fit a larger intercooler core?

Thanks,

Hey Chris. You are absolutely right. Basically the only part of the Bullet manifold we kept was the ports and frame. The bottom of it was cut out and extened downwards to the top of the block (approx 2+ inches). The top part is the extended housing which was cut out of a solid piece and built to suit 7 inch core.

Pic of the top mounting plate and height.

Still waiting on the trans to come back so they may just get it going with the OEM trans for now although it won't see the road with it.

That is a beautiful sight i must say. I must also say, best wishes with tuning. I threw a whipple on my GTP before i got my LX. They are amazing to run but holy crap did it shock drive line components. I couldn't keep a transmission together to run it for an extended period of time. Tuning aside (which took forever to get safe and optimized), plenty of cars made more power than me but it was such a brutal infusion of power that my tranmission kept coming apart forcing me to move on. It's exciting to see the mighty Whipple on an LX and best of luck. I'm sure the community will learn a great deal when that car comes to life.

Drive line is pretty much sorted and built/being built to suit what has been done. Probably over engineered everything but at least it should be right....(:) Fingers crossed).

The box on the RHS (looking at it from the front) is the water reservoir/ice box for the intercooler. The intake pipe runs through that to just behind the front bar.

Most definitely and me too. The bonnet on it now will be cut which will see the blower sitting through it. Thanks mate.

Yep, ths is correct. 1 for shows etc (the cut out bonnet) and one for driving on the street. This is what it will look like but the front grille/opening will be black on my setup.

The kit shown here is a one off/not being put into production but that is not to say another cannot be done. If something economical is what you are after the new Whipple 2.4L kit that is now available for the Hemi is an awesome kit. You can also upgrade to the 2.9L Whipple which bolts straight up and in. If the one I have is what you are after, let me know and I can try and get full pricing for you. Its not cheap I will say that right now though, however a 2nd or 3rd (or more) can definitely be made.

Hey Jected, what is the lastest and greatest with your monster????

Hey Cam. 11 days to go before the big reveal @ Summernats (Australia) and I cannot wait. Its coming along great and only a few fiddly bits to finish off now. There has been a lot of trouble shooting and fault finding carried out and completed which the guys at HP/F are happy with. The guys have also been finishing off the trans conversion (now built, assembled and fits in like OEM - final fitment Tuesday I believe). Convertor finally done, drive plate done, tailshaft to rear end finishing off by Tuesday, intake, engine bay and cooling system fabricated and completed.

The gilmer pulley setup unfortunately won't be finished before Summernats, just ran out of time so this will be done straight after it comes back to Melbourne. It will be ok with the 6pk belt however I am limited to 10psi as there is to much stress and slippage at all levels above this. And it snapped a belt as well from what I was told so 10psi it is till ealy Jan 2009.

Never wanted to drive it as much as what I do now though. Its going to be very exciting yet I am nervous about getting behind the wheel. That will pas though :)

This is a monster, congrats!
I can't wait to see the 'for show' hood! :D

Thanks mate. Me too!

Tha is awesome Daniel, can't wait to see some numbers from that beast!

Ed

Hey Ed.

The numbers we have seen so far up on the dyno (only testing figures nothing to really report etc n/a figures, run up numbers, testing) have been encouraging and everyone that has had a hand in the build up of this (especially HP/F who built the engine and blower system (blower system in conjunction with the team @ Yella Terra) are extremely happy with what they have seen and how it has performed.

As an example after the motor was built, installed and tuned (n/a) I got to drive it for 2 weeks before it went back to have the 3.4L blower fitted. The car n/a 426 (built for F/I, blower cam unported, unmatched OEM manifold, quick tune etc) put out more power and a ton more torque (dyno and seat of the pants) than when the car was stock with just the Harrop blower fitted. SCAREY!

Will see the track very soon and fingers crossed it achieves the numbers I am aiming for. Won't be easy but will get there.

Stay tuned.

Thanks heaps all.

Regarding the clearances on the bonnet their may still be some slight trimming adjustments needed but so far so good.

Bonnet won't be painted untill Jan when everything has been completed so the edging that was cut will be touched up in the mean time.

This will be the bonnet used for shows. The bonnet previously posted will be the street driving bonnet. Have to keep mr police man happy

Matt, looking forward to it mate. Its definitely come a long way and I can't wait to see it up there. Should be flying up/driving up either Friday morning/Saturday morning latest. The guys are getting it up there for me. See ya then.

Thanks guys. Almost there thank god. Bonnet was relieved a little more and is now perfect. All painted now and tidied up. Looking good. The GM T400 trans is playing nicely with the OEM electronics and I can't wait to get it down the track.

Was able to get a couple of video shots today however was only able to get them on my phone, forgot the camera. Poor quality and not much there but you get the idea. Will have heaps after this weekend!

Thanks guys. The tune isn't perfect yet and still some messing around to do but its getting there. Main thing is its ready for the weekend at Summernats...WOO HOO!

The weekend will be awesome, definitely looking forward to it, then back into on Monday again next week.

We are changing the pulley system (8-10pk belt setup) and snout (longer and will run independant of OEM system). Then comes the boost hehehe! and I can't wait.

As mentioned will have tons of video and pics this weekend and will post them all up.

Thanks to all for the kind words of encouragement and feedback with this build since May this year. It has been great reading all your comments and its been a joy posting my progress as it has come along. Definitely not over yet, but did want to say THANKS to you all.

Well I am back from my time up at Summernats in Canberra and I had an awesome time. Was great seeing the car up there in even more so as part of the sponsors display - Yella Terra?

First though I must thank HP/F in Dandenong (in particular Rob, Ian, Kyle-towing car up, George for driving, Paul, Kent and Matt), who not only worked on getting the car ready right up until new years eve, but for getting it up there, taking care of it, cleaning it (thanks again Kent and VOODOO RIDE car care - awesome products and best gear out there IMO), and the overall showing of my car. The car is amazing and the evidence is in the attention it got over the whole weekend. It was truly amazing how well it came up, and the feedback I/it received from people over the weekend. The Supercruise on Saturday night was awesome fun and got a big wrap from the commentator who came across as very impressed with the quality and build of the car - credit again to HP/F and Yella Terra. It has exceeded all expectations.

Next I must thank Yella Terra in particular Matt Smith for taking care of entering the car and allowing me to have it in their marquee (regardless of what you say mate, I still thank you :)). Yella Terra put in the time and effort to design this kit (with HP/F) and was definitely a standout if I may say so myself.

Was able to cruise the arena and of course the supercruise on Saturday night and the car did not miss a beat (except for slightly fraying a belt doing a skid when it touched the edge of the bonnet - so bonnet off hehehehe!). If you know Canberra Australia at this time of year you know it is dam hot and to do a lap takes about 15 minutes of mainly idling. Temps sat between 1/4 and half which is only a little higher than normal. The car is setup extremely well and can't wait to see the boost increased (not that it needs it) tuning finished off and at the track/next show. I had a ball and can't wait to do it again.

HP/F also took out the horsepower hero's dyno comp again with MR PSI winning its category (F/I small block) as well as overall highest horsepower with over 1530rwhp to take the win. Well done to Rob and the guys who have basically owned this competition for more than 4 years (last year taking the top 4 spots - top 3 bult by HP/F, 4th tuned by HP/F). The win by MR PSI was dedicated to the owner of the vehicle Lyle Lemon who sadly passed away earlier in the year.

I also grabbed as many pics and videos as I could so here they are. Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing....awesome stuff! Personally, I'm surprised how quite your ride is sitting inside. Beautiful sled! I do have to ask wth is that red car with that monster of a motor/intake? I'd like to stick something like that in a car and have people go 'wtf?' as I drive by. Looking forward to your dyno/track numbers! I know you got two hoods for your car...is one of them a cowl induction type hood by chance? I think a cowl hood with the same lines in it would look slick as heck on that monster.

Thanks for the comments, it was a pleasure having your car on display at our stand.
We've been major sponsors of the Summernats for over 20years, and i must say our

I started the independent 10Rib drive set up with HPF to spin this big beast, so i'll keep you posted.

Update for the last part of the build (well I think so anyway LOL).

The front drive snout and 10pk/gilmer belt setup is pretty much complete and installed. No more belt snapping or tearing. The belt guard has also been completed and it looks insane. George at HP/F has done an amzaing job and I can't wait to show you all. Additional pulley to run directly off the ATI unit is being done by Yella Terra and I believe it will be back and fitted early next week.

The blower system now runs independant of the OEM system which also has many benefits. The best being if a blower belt does go I can still drive the car.

Audio/visual has also been purchased and will be install over the coming weeks. Have gone with the new Alpine 502 head unit which will power everything and also includes GPS. This will be mated up to the Alpine headrest monitors already installed.

Gauge POD on the A pillar is being made as a one piece plastic unit which current cannot be purchased for RHD vehicles at present so if you are after one, let me know. This will be made out of high strength plastic to existing OEM standards.

Interior is also being retrimmed with A/B/C pillar and roof lining.

There is also a lot of show piece items/fabrication being done which will be done within the coming weeks as well. Best to just keep this a surprise for the final video and pics I do for your all.

That's about all for now, and I promise to have pics, videos (driving/dyno and sheet) then track upon completion of this project that is targetted to be done and dusted within 3-4 weeks.

Street drivable. ABSOLUTELY and just try and get me out of it when its all done. The good thing with how we have set it up and with the tuning is that we will have a few setups - street, race and dyno. The whole key to this build was to keep in mind that this is a true street car not just a track car or dyno queen (and vise versa). A lot of the work that has been done is due to this requirement. Has this meant its lost any speed or power - ABSOLUTELY NOT :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

I know what your saying with the belt guard and the best bit with it is its ease of removal and fitment. Can't wait to get the bonnet back as well.

It's Fired Up, It's Idling......

IT'S ALIVE AGAIN......and being put on the dyno and tuned very shortly.

WOO HOO!

I have one more thing that I am dying to tell everyone that is being used on this car now. This is the main reason for the delay in getting it fired up again but it is now done.

I have been asked to keep it under my hat just until after the car is tuned just so that HP/F can ensure no other issues arise. I will say though that this breakthrough is an option that I know many will be extremely interested in and I cannot wait to share with you all. This is an option that has not been available till now, many have tried and given up and was also deemed impossible. The talented guys at HP/F got it done, got over the final hurdle and the car is almost ready to go.

WOO HOO all excited now that's for damn sure.

Well what a first day it has been on the dyno and I cannot be happier with what it has achieved. All I can say is that it certainly has a heart beat and the smile cannot be wiped from my face.

@ 15 pound it ended up with 518kw at the tyres or 704rwhp after being run for most of the day.

The car performed flawlessly and the guys at HP/F also mentioned that the blower was also no where near max capacity. The discharge temps were starting to creep up a little bit with the added boost but still well within safe operating temps. The only issue that was encountered was a slight air leak somewhere either around the intercooler water pipe outlet or rear intake which they will be using their smoke machine on tomorrow to find out where – nothing of concern though and basically this was the only issue seen. Either way I am extremely happy with that and cannot believe how much power it has actually made.

Now I did have video going today but you will not believe what has happened. For some reason the sound did not record AT ALL. Someone had put the recording on mute and all I got were images. I did get some video on my phone earlier in the day but it is terrible quality. Will post it up if you want but its really nothing to go by. I can say though that it sounded like nothing else I have heard before.

Anyway will have more images and video tomorrow when I go back down and will promise to do a better job!

I will also get a proper dyno sheet from them but he is a still shot of what I saw today.

Holy Hell! it doesn't even sound like a car when you punch it, it sounds like light off on a F-16 afterburner!

Is the "special something you've been waiting to tell the Forums" that you've replaced the stroker motor with a Pratt and Whitney 220, or that the tail pipes are now solid rocket boosters?

Good Lord.

The car has just made 560rwkw/761rwhp WOO HOO! Unbelieveable and extremely happy with that. All air leaks sorted and there's the power. Still HEAPS left in it apparrently but either way I could noty be happy with the result. Plenty of video's and dyno sheets for every run will be up shortly.
Of and the little surprise.

This was all tuned via a standalone engine management system - MOTEC which still sees all OEM electronics working as normal. Will have more on this later.

Well I got back from HP/F a little while ago and I finally got the chance to not only drive it but feel just hw fast this thing is. IT WILL TAKE SOME GETTING USED TO! &^%$ me! LOL.

Today we ended up with 567.1rwkw or just over 760rwhp @ 15 pound. Everything is running perfectly and tune is 99% done. Marty (the boy genius at HP/F) will do some road tuning tomorrow which will also address the only slight issue encountered which was it sometimes stalls in first gear coming to a stop (they say is an easy fix and the whole thing will be done in under 1/2 hour).

The car is now fully assembled and has also been detailed which just means I will arrive at HP/F at 11am tomorrow as instructed to then finally take pocession of the car. I cannot wait.

Anyway here are some dyno sheets and pictures from today, video's are uploading and will be up as soon as they are ready.

HPF dyno results @ 15 pound = 567.1kw or 760.5rwhp

Awesome job! I've been waiting a long time to see dyno numbers. Thanks for being a pioneer for the rest of us. I want to be careful in how I say this but are you happy with the dyno numbers? Any fuel or spark issues? At 15 psi, you should be doubling the power output. As impressive as 760 to the wheels is I would have thought a 426 with the proper supporting hardware and 15 psi would yield around 800-900 to the wheels. I hope that didn't come off sounding wrong. Maybe there is some factors at play I'm not considering. Again, beautiful setup. I am jealous.

that custom tower brace is pretty rad too.

cant wait to get some vids with sound... that thing is MOVING!

random info regard the question about "are you happy with the horsepower"
i was curious about how a DynoDynamics number translated to a Dynojet number (dynojet being the dyno that MOSt people seem to use and are familiar w/ the numbers... so i GOOGLED it.

heres the thread i found http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=286440

it involve a WRX in cali, he went to 2 different dynos, same day... within 20 miles of eachother... waited the same time before runs to let the car cool to the same temp, kept the coolant temps the same, fan pisitions the same.. dah dah dah...

bottom line is this:
"he Results:
ATP (Dynojet) - 275.8whp and 232.2 torque
Vishnu (DynoDynamics) - 224.7whp and 192.2 torque

So depending on how you look at it ... Dynojet runs 22.74% higher than a DynoDynamic or DynoDynamic runs 18.53% lower than a Dynojet (with regards to whp). Check out these graphs ... (oops ... I can't figure out how to get multiple attachments with a single post)
"

so if my math is correct... the 760 translates to about 932.

No problem at all mate. Definitely very happy with the result and especially on the HP/F's dyno. As mentioned in another post dyno's can be up and down however that is bacially where it should be. There are certainly ways in which we can get the numbers up (take the hi stall convertor out/replace T400/change out 22" wheels) however thats how the car will be driven and thats what we ended up with on HP/F's dyno. HP/F's dyno compared to a lot of others reads lower (exact) compared to others around the country due to the dyno comps they are so heavilyy invested in and they would rather know what they are going into a comp with than an inflated figure.

My car is at its first meet this weekend which will also hold a dyno comp which it is entered in. Will be interesting to see the numbers it gets on someone else's Will keep you posted.

But as I mentioned and to answer the question, I have extremely happy with that result, the car drives and feels like nothing I have driven or been in before and there is still the knowing that there is still about 5-7 pounds of boost left in the blower :).

OMG big D, that's sick buddy!!. Congrats.

As for the dyno results (and as above) yes very happy with the reults (how could you not be :)). Yes some read higher, others lower, I know that with a lot of customers that come to HP/F after dyno figures elsewhere they leave with lower results but a quicker car. Should my results have been hgher then....NOPE! that is exactly what we got and WAAAAAAAAAAY more than needed hehehehehehehe!

Thanks mate. Definitely a different car now than how it went in thats for sure.

As you mentioned dyno's and results are really based on how hey are setup up and on the operator. Slowly learning there is no set way about it. Some are higher/some are lower, hard to judge. Either way I am very impressed with the result and hanging to hit the track and street.

Congrats on the numbers, I know you have been waiting a long time man. The car looks awesome and it sounds awesome.

Thanks mate. Still slowly learning about the MOTEC and I know a lot of ddevelopment back and forth between HP-F and MOTEC went on.

CAN BUS electronics - Yes exactly the same as teh USA and the world.

Basically the M800 controls everything to do with the engine - fuel/spark/timing/ignition/throttle body drive by wire/knock sensors/cam & crank angle sensors etc etc etc - EVERYTHING. Other than that I have no idea how it does it and still have the car electronics/CAN BUS work as factory but I do know that this was half the time my car took this year getting finished. Not sure how I can show this as right other than filiming the car dash when running but I can assur eyou it all works. One of my requirements was that the car operate as it did from factory (cruise control/ABS/ESP etc and so far all good.

Camera has recorded and the sound is there. This is the car from the weekend's car show and dyno comp which also took out first place with a lazy 709rwhp - no ice, and very humid.

Top effort IMO and not bad first time out and taking 1st place (if I do say so myself hehehehe). I must also thank Rob and George from Horsepower Factory who came down on Saturday whom without their help and advice, would not have enabled the dyno operators guys to get the car run up and strapped down on the dyno properly. They also got the car prepped and ready for this weekend and the help was greatly appreciated so thanks again guys (HP/F 8-14 Amberley Cres Dandenong VIC 3175 03 9793 1616 - shameless plug but they deserve it :))

Thanks mate. Defintely very happy with the result. Will the MOTEC work with the NAG1? I cannot see why it could not be made to work.

As the guys at HP/F have now done, anything is possible as shown by getting the MOTEC to work running the engine and tying back into the OEM electronics. Many said it couldn't be done or it would be impossible to do, well not anymore!

Hey guys.

Haven't posted much on any forum for a few weeks so hopefully this will make up for it. :)

Still been adding, fabricating and doing things to the car to have it where I want it and once again its getting there.

Some of the projects undertaken over the last few weeks include:

All bushes in the rear end being replaced with Nolathan bushes
Front cradle bushes replaced with Nolathan bushes
2nd diff fabricated for drag racing which will see the rear end now incorporate a mini spooled centre and gears
Fitted the smaller diameter (5% overdrive) ATI balancer due to not needing the 17% (or is it 13%) overdrive unit I did have fitted. Was originally running blower off OEM drive belt system but was no good due to belt slip. I am now running the blower seperatley on a 10pk belt system and the engine as it does from factory.
I installed some bling :) believe it or not hehehe. I purchased a Moroso radiator tank and braided line which fits in nicely with the rest of the engine bay.
New tune being done next week once the rear end is finished and back together. I have asked them to wind it right up now to see what this setup has left on the table. Currently running 16psi with the blower running at 14,885rpm and engine to 6500rpm. Whipple states that max (safe) held rpm on the 3.4L is rated to 16,000rpm with a peak (short burst) rating @ 18,000rpm. By calculations 22psi (possibly up to 23-24psi) should be achievable. Discharge temps though could be the limitng factor here.

HP/F also have their own show on TV here in Australia called Oz Garage and the latest episode was entirely on the 300C SRT8 and Whipple superchargers. This episode also updated viewers on the progress of my car, buildup, dyno and its first showng at Chryslers on the Murray.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXD63bE7cc0

The entire episode (and past episodes) can be found here www.channel31.org.au (http://www.channel31.org.au/) and typing OZ GARAGE in the search box.

Enjoy.

Yes it was needed to keep everything under the hood. The police don't take to kindly to blowers hanging out the bonnet of cars driving on the street. I actually have a new bnnet coming this Wednesday which I hope I will like better than this one. This is what I ended up with no bonnet scoop.

Cheers mate. Still weighing up whether I will polish it or not yet. If I do, motor will come out and will polish/coat everything. It does sit high though and the main reason was due to the intercooler (inner manifold) core. Without doing what was done we wouldn't be able to get the discharge temps down. Water temp through the core I would descirbe as a little warmer than the water out of your cold water tap at home (if that makes sense - an actual temp reading would probably make descirbing this easier LOL - I will get to that one day :))

After what work has been done and what the guys at HP/F could achieve for me anything is possible mate

Updates to date.

All the little bugs have now ben ironed out and I would be safe to say that it is now pretty much at 99% done and right. Once run up and street tested again I can say 100% done. This included the trans setup and selector including gears on dash. Manifold has now been sorted and will never leak boost again. Have never not had a boost leak so I am very excited to see what numbers I come up with now. Half shafts from DSS that I got last year were faulty and had to send back to the USA for swap over. This alone took 2 weeks to rectify and added to the delay on the car getting back down on all 4 wheels. Still waiting to get mine to the track and not having one in Melbourne (our closest one closed earlier this year, Sydney NSW is my next best option). Bad weather has also set in so not so concerned as yet, but come September, fingers crossed.

New things carried out whilst waiting.....

Interior has been sent off to the trimmers for full custom interior. Should be back this week I hope.

Audio visual upgrade taken care of now including the fitment of the Alpine 502 head unit and GPS system. This is mated up to the rear headrest, DVD stacker and everything else that goes along with it.

New bonnet made and painted (decided I didn't like the last one). This new one is nuts :).

Engine and engine bay pieces now polished to make look pretty.

Rear end now complete and should be back in the car already if not close to.

Boot setup being looked at as well (hmmmm......)

Next update is when its all buttoned up.
