A week ago Friday, as I was shopping around on the phone for a more civilized cat-back for the "Mango Express", I happened across Eddie @ Southern Hotrod.

I had originally called to check pricing on both the Billy Boat as well as Corsa cat-backs. (new)

Eddie, seeing that I was looking for a bargain, (cheapskate) suggested that he knew of a customer of his that was interested in selling his B&B that had only been on the car for 1,000 mile or so.

He quoted a good price, so after sleeping on it over the weekend, I called him on Monday & made the purchase W/the understanding that the cat-back would be removed no later than the following Wednesday.

When I got home late on Wednesday, I had an invoice complete W/tracking #s in my E-mail as well as a voice mail explaining that they had not charged my credit card until the package shipped & that it would probably be the next day before the tracking #s came up on Fed-Ex's website.

Sure enough, the following day I was able to track the packages & low & behold, the boxes arrived yesterday.

Since it was a used system & I was concerned about packaging, I pulled the shiny, polished stainless steel components from the boxes in the driveway as the Fed-Ex driver looked on.

Aside from some (very) minor scratches that wouldn't show anyway, a bit of brown discoloration from heat in the "X" pipe & some smudges where the tips contacted the rear facia, the system looked like new. A very good bargain @ about $400 savings over a brand new system.

I am very pleased W/the product & even more pleased W/the service I received from Southern Hotrod. :thumbs_u:

Eddie kept his word & exceeded my expectations. :not_worth
