The Modern Mopar Club of America is happy to announce that starting Wednesday October 8th we will be having a weekly coffee night / meet & greet. Every Wednesday night 8PM at the Starbucks on rt9 in Howell. This M&G will be open to members and none members alike. So make it a point to get out of the house for a couple of hours each week and join us for a cup of coffee.

If he leaves Manhattan around 6:30 he will be there between 8 & 8:15 tops. I drive to work once in a while and wait until 6:30 before I leave Midtown and make it home in an hour and 15 minutes. Lincoln Tunnel, Turnpike South to exit 11, Garden State Parkway to exit 98. I-195 west to rt 9 south and 5 min. to Starbucks!

Sorry guys this is the busiest month of the year for me at work so I haven't been getting home until 8:30 plus traffic in and out of the city is a PIA around the holidays adding an extra 1/2 hour to my commute.
So I can't make it tonight. Now the next two Wed. nights are Christmas and New Years Eve so their out! That brings me to Jan. 7th and I am scheduled for Knee surgery at 7am that day but I will be available every Wed. night starting again on the 14th.

Anyone want to do Tuesday or Friday night next week?

I see your point but Saturday night is usually a night out with the wife, family and / or other friends. I tried it before and it didn't work for that reason. Plus a mid week coffee night is a cheap night out. We could try a once a month Saturday night M&G until the car show season kicks in. Just my opinion. In fact we need to set up a regular club meeting for next month so maybe we can start it with that.

Glad to hear all went well!! My dad had both of his done a couple of years ago. He gained 3/4" in height. Keep the drugs handy for the first couple of days and you'll be running wind sprints by the end of the month!!! Good luck and keep well.

Just so you know the StarBucks is in the Khols shopping plaza. You have to use the main shopping entrance but Starbucks faces Rt 9. How are you coming in from 9 South or North?

That is the correct address. Starbucks is a strip mall with Panera Bread and Stone Cold Ice Cream. It is on the north bound side of rt9 between New Friendship Road & Lanes Mill Road. If your coming north on 9 from lakewood it's just past the Walmart, if your coming South on 9 from Freehold you make the u turn at Walmart to 9 north. Its about a 1/4 mile north of the Walmart.

125 Camaros were made today and Chevy launched the official Camaro web site. A 2010 Camaro 2SS totally loaded with every thing including upgraded interior, electronics, moon roof, PAINTED racing stripes for $38,600.00, 7K less than a loaded Challenger SRT. 426 HP and 500 lbs. lighter than a Challenger SRT8. Just think how easy Chevy is going to make it to get performance mods and well you get the idea! Dodge better get serious about a 6.4L Hemi or bigger fast! Not to mention the performance upgrades planned for the 2010 Stangs. Otherwise there may be a glut of Mopars for sale! (I hate to admit it but the Camaro is super hot).

Personally I think it's hideous. The side view is ok but still not as nice as the Challenger. From the front, the Challenger looks great and the Camaro looks like poop. The interior in the Challenger may not be the most exciting, but it's well laid out (as we know) and is not offensive to look at. The Camaro interior, however, might induce an epileptic episode. :mrgreen:

There has been lots of talk about the new GM product (can’t use that C-word in my house) coming out. Not being a GM guy and owning 68 to 69 Cougars I am not an M-word guy. But if they keep resto-ing the old stile cars it can only help car clubs like this one and my Cougar Club (IMHO).

See you guys Wednesday night, I will have the sunroof 69 because the wife will have the Charger at work.
