Im thinking about trading the Charger2.7 in for a 05 Maggie RT. The dealership has it listed for 15k with 35k miles on it. Do you guys think that this is a reasonable price. Need something with more storage space with the 2nd lil man on the way. Any adive would be helpful thanks.

That what i was thinking. I still owe 10500 on my car, I want them to take my car pay it off i dont want to put any money down and i want to keep my current payment. Is this to unreasonable to ask?
Here is a link to the car http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ct=u&car_id=246482176&dealer_id=71871&car_year=2005&model=MAGNUM&num_records=25&systime=&make2=&highlightFirstMakeModel=&start_year=2005&keywordsfyc=&keywordsfyc=&keywordsrep=&keywordsrep=&engine=8+Cylinder&certified=&body_code=0&fuel=&awsp=false&search_type=both&distance=200&marketZipError=false&search_lang=en&showZipError=n&first_record=1&make=DODGE&keywords_display=&color=&page_location=findacar%3A%3Aispsearchform&min_price=&drive=&seller_type=b&max_mileage=&style_flag=1&sort_type=priceASC&address=21702&advanced=y&end_year=2009&pager.offset=0&doors=&transmission=&max_price=&cardist=34&rdpage=thumb
Good price. I paid 15131 before taxes and fees (which means 16500 out the door) for my 05 R/T in January of this year. It had 48k at the time and many options. The miles are very low so that makes it a good price.

Well then you're $5k short ;)
You can only keep the current payment if you extend the time on the loan. The best would probably be to put something down to lower the payment

hey stupid, i let mine go for 16000 with all my mods and 41,000 miles
SRT front fascia
slp LM1 exhaust
mopar CAI 22"s with new pirellis worth over 1000.
lowered on sportlines
5% tint all around and 205 in front
debadged, demolded
best damn looking MRT u ever seen.
u coulda had all this for a thousand more.
i am rubbing this in ur face cos when i got the MRT u were more worried about gas than i was, now u want one.
nevertheless, good choice going from a charger to a magnum.
u also might want to shop around. u never know where u'll get the most for ur car.
i hopoe this makes u get in a Magnum faster
My girl's Altima SE-R is faster thanm ur charger.
in ur face sucka.
-------end of being a jacka$$------
now if u need assistance with the whole shopping process, hit me up. u know i love car shopping

2.7L to a 5.7L.......HELL YES!
I love the silver too. Sell your Charger (try Craigslist, it's free!) and then go haggle with the dealer. Soooooooo much easier and you will always come out on top!

Ok let me ask this then wife said I could pull the trigger. So what the miles per tank average. I drive mostly city and sometimes I have a heavy right foot

If you are looking for gas mileage from a V8 pulling a 2-ton car around, these aren't the cars.
If you are looking for the coolest station wagon around that -can- get decent mileage, an RT works - just don't pin your hopes on getting better mileage than your 2.7.
What -are- you getting for 'real world' mileage on that thing anyway?

I get anywhere from 300-335 in the city and about 4-420 on the highway nothing but highway road trip style cruising at 65-70. still what would the gas mileage be for an RT? Viper3ez put it right he got more smiles per gallon where i was gettin more miles per gallon

That thing is loaded, would be a nice buy too...as for mileage it might be a tad better on the highway but as for the leaded right foot of yours you might wanna get some of it remove(it might grow back worse than before tho)....:panic:
Good luck with the shopping

19 mpg all highway equals about 350 to tank. going 90mph average. dunno how much going slow cos cant remember.
city, if you care, stay away from a V8 Magnum.
u will notice the difference but u'll be over it in a few miles of driving.
forget mds because u drive almost as uneconomically as i do.
it would not kick in.
lets just say i get saME mileage now in my MSRT as i did in my MRT.
if u worried about gas, stay away
but if you love smile per gallon feeling, here is ur official invitation to custommagnums.com.
u can also post ur situation there and let more magnum lovers chime in also.
good luck

I average about 350-360 miles on a tank combined city & highway driving with my RT. All highway is 400+ easily.

I dont like red cant find a black one with what i want on it. The blue one they have is the exact color as mine but to many miles and has less options. Plus I like the silver.
