View Full Version : How to bolt on 150rwhp, in 20 seconds :)
.......Just watch the Animated GIF below :)
This is the power that makes these cars PERFECT.
They have the brakes, they have the wheels, now they can have the POWER.
This car is 100% bone stock down to the mufflers. Other then the ProCharger supercharger. I absolutely can't wait to more and more Supercharger kits to these cars. Now with the tuning options opening up, I feel the Hemi motors are going to become a HUGE playing in the HP game. (Bought time the LS1's had someone to pick on them)
150 Horsepower Gain
91 Octane (With 10% ethanol we have here in KS)
6psi of Boost
Max HP: 484
Max TQ: 444
With a TQ curve that flat, it makes Mustangs Cry. J/K

And now the 20 second Supercharger Install,....

I am going to do another install on Monday, and with a couple more tweaks should be able to get over 500hp to the wheels, with a stone stock car, on lack luster "winter blend" fuel. Just thought you all would enjoy the moving GIF, I know it was fun to make.

You're in Lenexa!?! How did I not know about your shop? I drove to Chicago to get my supercharger installed!
Are you set up to do CMR tunes? I have a Vortech on my R/T and am looking for one.

Sweet gif guys. 334 rwhp on a stock 2008 SRT8 Challenger - I feel better about my lower than expected 2008 Daytona's stock numbers now. LOL

Sorry, I used to do a LOT of CMR tuning when I mainly worked on Mustangs. But most of the stuff these days is GM related, or Stand Alone systems.
Are you running stock boost?
Yes, that kit was just how it comes from ProCharger. I was lucky that we got the FIRST kit that was available to the public. Went and picked it up myself, and installed it the next day.
I am doing another system this week, and am going to add some boost and play with the tuning a little more. This car was set up ultra safe.

It took an honest 8 hours, with off an on breaks to drink some Red Bull, and change the Internet Radio station :) Then about 2 hours counting the dyno time.
As you can see it can be done in a garage, with simple hand tools. (Most "bolt on parts" are hardly that. I only found a couple type-oh's in the install manual, and I have already write and Email to Procharger and informed them of the changes I would make in that. (Nothing major, just will help you all out down the road, and make there manual that much easier)

Aw man, when you put it that way, you make it that much harder to NOT put one of these on my car. Ugh. Nice job though, the dyno is very nice in the torque department... drool.

Good luck getting into that Challenger, so close to the wall and a GTO? so close.
Nice power though, love the gif.

NICE, so that's with the stock kit but dyno tuned?
Either way, love the GIF and impressive numbers!

Stock Car,
Stock Kit,
ProChargers Stock Tune.
We just wanted to see what it would do, right out of the box.
Plus the car was only with me for a limited amount of time (out of state car). So I didn't have time to get crazy with it.
It was safe, Made good power...... So off it went.
This next car, I am going to tune myself and add a psi of boost. (Since I know it can handle it)
