If you dont know what it is, its an 09 challenger r/t that he is currently making wide in the rear to fit 24"x12" rim:panic:

It has been to hot to work outside so work on the car slowed down a lil.....lol but welding on the 1/4's are done a lil more grinding and a lil more work on the inner wheel wells. no pictures for now. Before it goes to paint i will take pics and also while body work is being done.

It looks like a 295/30 stretched across 12 inches of wheel. Way to skinny. i think it would be sick if somebody put a meaty @ss tire on that wheel.... and I do mean something crazy. Like a 405/25/24.

Unless that tire was just for mock-up like the wheel is, Im hoping that changes when its all said and done.

^^^I figured as much, Noid. Just kinda surprised he didnt do the mock-up with the same tire it was gonna end up with. But I guess if all you're doing is making sure the fender clears the wheel, its no big deal if the exact tire isnt present on the car.

Thats all I can say right now. With a wheel of that size, it can be very easy to lose the look of the vehicle to "ghetto" standards... but I think that it couldnt be FURTHER away from that. Everything about that wheel just screams classy, it aint even funny. The Challenger lettering around the edge is just killer. And I love that Forgiato wheel to begin with, and two-toning the spokes was bad@ss.

I assume the car will get the same two-tone treatment? That would be amazing.

Very well done. Still cannot wait to see finished pics of this monster. I envy all you guys out there who live by Topo who can stop in to spy on the latest updates!!

Smaller rim and some huge meaty tires and its PERFECT!

Here we go again......

A new challenger is in the shop and ready for the treatment.
No pics yet but it is an 09 srt8 BB. This car will be repainted Purple & GOLD.
The car belongs to Andrew Bynum of The LOS ANGELES LAKERS.
