Where to begin. First off, what personable folks that work at RDP especially Steve. Whether its deals or tuning or just chatting about anything, one can always count on RDP. Anyone who travels around the country to tune cars and help out should be pointed out and praised.
Now where my review can be most credible is in the tuning department. I stumbled upon RDP while searching through these forums awhile back and I was in the process of having alot of tuning issues that I needed figured out ASAP as I had multiple lean/misfire codes and pinging. They were getting worked out, but my car is a daily driver so I couldnt wait a couple days. Thats where Steve stepped in. I sent him a PM and at the time I was a little skeptical as there wasnt much known about RDP for me at least, but I was willing to chance it after looking at the website and talking with Steve for a little. Man, that was a great decision.
I sent him the tune that was being worked on and after 10 minutes, the guy knew how to fix it. The next morning, I plugged my tuner in, loaded the new tune and the CEL went away instantly with no more pinging! Sure I had to do a couple of datalogs just to see where things were at, but it turned out perfectly. I attribute my ability to run 11.X psi on a stock 5.7 motor daily to him for sure.
During the whole process, I could always get in contact with Steve via PM and especially via instant message. Another plus is that he doesnt get involved with business BS. He fixed my tune, but he isnt the kind of guy that would going around beating his chest about it. He contacted another company about the issues/stuff and was very nice about it. Teamwork a good quality of his and most importantly, customer service is top notch. If the customer aint happy, then Steve isnt either. He works one-on-one with you and doesnt make you feel inferior.
All in all, Im glad I took the chance on RDP/Steve. I will recommend them to everyone and will continue to do business with them. Heck, I even plan on going to them for my 2JZ MGB build when the time comes:)
If anyone has any questions/concerns about RDP or if youre considering getting a tune or whatever but youre still on the fence about it, just PM me and Ill answer whatever I can.
