Time to replace the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires on my car. Looking at Nitto INVO's as replacements since they worked well on my M3. Also took a look at Toyo Proxes 4 but they are more like truck/SUV type tires. What are your thoughts and type of tires you have on your vehicles. Thanks
I just replaced my Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's with Nitto Invo's. Now that I have the Invo's I sure wish Vredesteins had been in stock. The sidewalls on the Invo's are way softer than the V's and really is noticeable during hard cornering. If you don't really push your car like I do...and don't mind paying an extra $250 for a lesser performing tire than I would say the Invo's are a decent tire. Now that I've owned RSA's, Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta, and Invos, "IMO" they are the best bang for the buck tire out there....and out perform the competition. The reason I didn't get the V's again is I'm taking a 4k mile trip next week and needed tires and the V's were out of stock everywhere!

Nitto 420s served me well for... I dunno, about 13,000 miles. The RSA's got me through the first 7,000 without any real complaints either. About to try out some Pirellis. I'd say the Nittos are a safe recommendation.

Bud,Bud,Bud.....I can't believe you jumped ship!!! Thanks for turning me on to these tyres. I think I'll order another pair just to make sure I've got my replacements in hand.

? the proxes 4 is not a truck type tire, its a W speed rated performance tire. you sure you looked at the right one? the proxes 404 or something like that is the truck tire.
my proxes 4 did great at the track and i love them on the road.

Worst thing about the Vreds, which I just replaced my Invos for, is the wait to get them. Since they are made in the Netherlands, and are just getting into the US, supplies can be spotty. I had to wait like six weeks from order to reciept.
That said, worth the wait. My Invos, while a great improvement over the RSAs, were not as secure in hard cornering as these Vreds are. Not to mention being able to put more power down sooner coming out of a corner.

Funny, that's exactly the way I would characterize the Toyo Proxes plus 4's.
Only thing I have to compare them to is my OE Goodyear RSA's which suck at everything but braking! Some of the worst tires for an SRT8.
I love F1's as long as the pavement is dry and warm, otherwise they suck, too.
The Toyos are cheap, plentiful, and an excellent all around tire.

Yah, I'm pretty sure I coulda wound Bounty paper towels around the wheels and got better handling than the RSAs provided.

I have Toyo Proxies 4's and have no complaints about them. I don't take my car to the track or anything, but they seem to do everything I desire in a tire.

Thanks for your input on the matter. I am still looking into it for other replacements.

Trust me...I wish I didn't have to. I'm driving to Texas and back next week and the V's are on back order. I honestly thought the Invo's would be a comparable tire but just more expensive. They don't even come close to the V's and are $250.

I just changes to the Falken Ziex ST04s. I'm running 22s, but the Falkens are great!, Sticky on corners, quiet, smooth, and warranted for 50K.
